Welcome to a fabled wonderland called Kashmir. Snow-capped mountains, sunny gardens, luxurious houseboats, picturesque mountain lakes... Indeed, if there is a paradise on earth, it is this. This dream package uses Srinagar as a base and from here you will be taken on full-day excursions to the enchanting resorts of Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar

  Arrive at Kashmir's most well-known city, Srinagar situated 5200 feet above the sea level on the banks of River Jhelum. Srinagar is famous for its urban Dal Lake the second largest in the state, House boat stays, & gardens. Our representative / chauffeur will greet you at the airport and direct you to your houseboat to check-in for a 2 nights stay. Enjoy the rest of the day on the houseboat. A part of your package guides you to experience the sheer beauty of the Shikara ride by sun set - one of the most romantic settings in Kashmir. You can also explore the floating markets on the Dal Lake, one of its kinds in India and go up to Char Chinar - an island on the lake marked with the presence of Chinar Trees. Once the evening is spent at Chinar, you can return to your houseboat where you will be served an amazing meal.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar

  Wake up to a brand new day to the toast of Srinagar, Dal Lake. Enjoy the beautiful scenic beauty while having a healthy breakfast on the house boat. After breakfast proceed for a day's excursion to Sonmarg located 9200 feet above sea level. It would take about 3 hours covering 87 kms to reach Sonmarg, one of the most beautiful drives from Kashmir. Sonmarg is famous for the picturesque views of snowy mountains and green pastures - a perfect treat to the eyes. Click some beautiful shots of the snowcapped mountains and enjoy a trip to Thajiwas glacier. Return to Srinagar in the evening to have dinner on the houseboat.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Gulmarg

  After a good breakfast you will proceed to Gulmarg, a popular skiing destination situated 8825 feet above the sea level. The drive is approximately 2 hours covering a distance of 52 km from Srinagar. On reaching Gulmarg, head straight to your hotel where you will check-in. Also known as "The Meadow of Flowers", Gulmarg is popular for Skiing and most famous Gondola Ride. Reaching 12,959 feet through the Gondola Ride is a must for anyone visiting Kashmir. The beautiful view of the snow covered mountains & glaciers will amaze you and you will treasure this all your life. After the ride, walk around the bowl clicking pictures in the snow. A church at the centre and a temple on the edge are a must see in Gulmarg. Later in the evening you will be served hot food in your hotel.

• Day 4 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam

  Have a good breakfast & check out of your hotel in Gulmarg to depart for Pahalgam, located 7200 feet above sea level. Pahalgam is situated on the banks of the River Lidder and is famous for its Bollywood Movie shoots. It is also the base and the starting point for Amarnath Yatra. The drive to Pahalgam will take about 3 hours covering 87 kms passing through the Saffron fields of Pampore. Enroute you can stop by at the Avantipur ruins, an ancient Vishnu Temple & the Cricket Bat Factories and get some great photographs. On reaching Pahalgam, you will check-in at your hotel. Later in the evening you can stroll around the local markets & the gardens of Pahalgam. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
  

• Day 5 : In Pahalgam

  Wake up in Pahalgam to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Today you have the day for yourself. We recommend that you go on an excursion of the renowned Chandanwari and Betaab valley. You can also go along a pony on these excursions. Carry a picnic basket if possible. Return back to your hotel in the evening. Enjoy the surroundings of Pahalgam on foot. Dinner will be served at your hotel.

• Day 6 : Pahalgam - Srinagar

  Post breakfast at your hotel, you will check-out and leave for Srinagar that will take approximately 3 hours. Check-in at your hotel in Srinagar and later leave for a half day sightseeing tour of Srinagar visiting the Shankracharya temple, the Mughal Gardens (Chasme Shahi, Nishat and Shalimar) followed by shopping of souvenirs at the Boulevard. You can pick up the local Kashmiri/Pashmina shawls, saffron, walnut wood carvings etc. back home. We will have dinner ready at the hotel at night.
  

• Day 7 : Depart Srinagar

  You can take an early morning stroll to see the city waking up on your last day in Kashmir. You can laze around and then depart for the airport to your way back home.
