Kashmir, a verdant green valley, well nestled in the Himalayas against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains is said to be the Paradise on Earth. The silvery lakes and sparkling fresh water streams, pine and deodar forests, green meadows and grassy slopes mark this magical land. Surrounded on both sides by River Jhelum the valley of Kashmir comprises of Kishtwar, Ladakh & Zanskar ranges. A tour to Kashmir takes you to the land of amazing beauty, exquisite fruits and exotic flora. 
The most magnificent trees native to Kashmir are the Chinar trees found uniformly throughout the valley. Mountain ranges in the valley have dense deodar, pine and fir trees. Walnut, willow, almond and cider add up to the floral wealth of Kashmir. The hilly regions of Doda, Udhampur, Poonch and Rajouri have leopard, cheetah and deer, wild sheep, bear, brown musk shrew, and muskrat. The dense forests of Kashmir are ideal for sport lovers and adventure bugs. 

In Kashmir Tour, one should not miss the unique experience of staying in the houseboat constructed of cedar wood floating on the Dal lake. The well furnished houseboats popularly known as Shikaras offer all you need for a luxurious stay. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVE DELHI

  Met upon arrival and transfer to Hotel…. Evening is at leisure. Stay at hotel for 01 night. 
• Day 2 : DELHI - AMRITSAR

  Early in the morning enjoy a city tour of Old Delhi i.e. visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat - Gandhi’s Crematorium centre, rickshaw ride through old Bazaars of Chandni Chownk & others. Later in the afternoon transfer to New Delhi Railway station to board train to Amritsar….. 
  
  (Shatabdi Express, Dep 1600/ Arr 2200 Hours, Air-Conditioned Chair car)…. 
  
  Met upon arrival and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon is at leisure….. Stay at hotel for 01 night.
• Day 3 : AMRITSAR - JAMMU

  Enjoy a city tour of Amritsar i.e. visit to Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Mata Vaishno Temple, Moving Sikh Temple – incredible & in the evening enjoy an excursion to Wagah Border. Later in the evening transfer to railway station in time to board overnight train to Jammu.

• Day 4 : JAMMU - PATNITOP - SRINAGAR

  Met upon arrival and drive to Srinagar enroute visiting Patnitop – Honeymooner’s Paradise ( 300 Kilometers / about 07 Hours ). Upon arrival transfer to a deluxe Houseboat in Srinagar. Later in the evening enjoy a Shikara ride in Dal Lake and enjoying Floating Market… 
  
  Stay at house boat for 04 nights.

• Day 5 : SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR

  Drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. Lunch will be carried from the Houseboat. Return to Srinagar. 
• Day 6 : SRINAGAR

  Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboat.

• Day 7 : SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR

  After early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) via Srinagar. Drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. Later in the afternoon return to Houseboat in Srinagar. 

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 8 : LEH

  Visit Shankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Spituk & Stokh Palace.
• Day 9 : LEH

  Day is at leisure.
