Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi – Srinagar

  Arrival Srinagar airport meet & assist transfer to premium class houseboat in kashmir ,the Summer capital of Kashmir at the height of 5200 ft above sea level, Afternoon famous Mughal Gardens of Nishat (Garden of pleasure) Shalimar (Garden of Love)built by Mughal Emperor during the 16th century. During spring until autumn these gardens are full of flowers. Also, pay a visit to Kashmir Famous Hand knotted Silk carpet weaving factory. Evening: Free for Shopping / Personal activities. • Day 2 : Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

  After breakfast enjoy an excursion to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) at a height of 8800ft above sea level, the drive approx 56 km will take 2hrs with photo stops .One can also have the view of Nanga Parbat(26,600 ft) if weather permits. Gulmarg has highest 18 hole golf course in the world and has developed into a famous Ski resort. After lunch takes a gondola ride from Gulmarg to Kongdoori 10,050 ft high, return back to Srinagar, take shikhara cruise to Famous Dal Lake visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens, Vegetable Gardens and backwater canals. Dinner & overnight stay at Kashmir Houseboat

• Day 3 : Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar

  After breakfast, leave with Picnic Lunch for Sonmarg 86 km (Meadow of Gold) 8950 feet high from sea level via Kangan town, beautiful drive along the Sindh River. The drive is very spectacular with beautiful sceneries along the way. Sonamarg is the gateway to Leh/Ladakh and base for many trekking areas. On reaching Sonmarg you feel like you are in Swiss Alps. After lunch take a short trek toThajwas glacier on foot or on ponies (own expenses). Evening return back to Srinagar. overnight stay in Houseboat.

  • Themes Trekking
• Day 4 : Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar

  After early breakfast enjoy a day trip to Pahalgam 96 km drive (Vally of Shepherds) 6390 Ft high from sea level and is a base for many trekking routes. Enroute visit Saffron fields , Awantipora Temple Ruins dedicated to Lord Vishnu .The stone pillars are carved with different Hindu Goddess, 9th century Awantipora was Capital of Kashmir, also pay a visit to Mattan Temple with its holy fishes spring. Proceed to Pahalgam; enjoy the Hot Lunch in the resort, later Optional pony ride to Baisaran Kashmir Valley or around the Pahalgam village. Return in the evening.Dinner & overnight stay in Houseboat.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys, Trekking
• Day 5 : Srinagar – Delhi

  After breakfast enjoys front porch of your houseboat and see the world goes by and later transfer to Srinagar airport for flight to Delhi to Connect onward journey.
