Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu Arrival - Srinagar 21st may 2013.

  On arrival at Airport / Railway Station and you will be met, assisted and drive to Srinagar. Transfer to Houseboat. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and enjoy Shikara Ride and scenic view of mountain ranges around Dal Lake. Overnight stay in houseboat.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - local 22nd may 2013

  Next Day visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) the Mughals laid out in the 16th century. These fall along the banks of the Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing a panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal Lake & River Jehlum, enroute visiting handloom centre famous for production of Pashmina/ shahtoos shawls & world over carpets. Over Night stay in Hotel.

• Day 3 : Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar 23rd may 2013

  Leave after breakfast for a full day excursion to Sonamarg - The Meadow of Golds.From Srinagar in the north-east of Srinagar at altitude of 3000 mts, above sea level. The place offers incredible Scenic beauty (while driving to Sonamarg) dense pine forests, Gigantic Mountains. The place itself is a popular resort for mountaineers, rock climbing, besides an important halt on way to Kargil (Ladakh) & provides the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountains, lakes, glaciers & Shri Amarnath ji holy cave. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Srinagar - Yusmarg - Srinagar 24th may 2013.

  This morning after breakfast we will visit Great waterfall of Aharbal, and after lunch went for picturesque place Daksum with Mughal Gardens of Achabal and after that wular and Manasbal Lake and Drive to yusmarg. Yusmarg is approximately 47 km from the Srinagar and lies in the Badgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The two-hour drive to the place is an enjoyment in itself. Grassy pastures stretching to acres of land, the dense forests full of pine trees, with the backdrop of splendid snow-capped mountains leave you almost speechless. Within commutable distance from Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, Yusmarg is the perfect place to go for a picnic. Specially, for the lovers of long walks in picturesque locales, Yusmarg is the place to be. Evening back to Srinagar.Stay overnight in Hotel.

• Day 5 : Srinagar - Gulmarg 25th may 2013

  Check out from Hotel and leave for Gulmarg, which lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms. On an altitude of 2730 mts. above sea level, snow caped mountains are all around the place. You can even have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It is one of the premiere winter sports Ski resorts for skiers with one of the world's highest 18 hole golf courses. For joy seekers, cable car upto Alpather via Kongdori by Asias longest run cable car ride approx. 5 kms. and altitude wise worlds highest run Cable Car conquering almost 14000 ft Height, return back to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 6 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam 26th may 2013

  After breakfast proceed for a full day trip to Pahalgam located at an altitude of 7200 fts famously known as village of shepherds. En-route see the world famous saffron growing fields, There is Awantipura temple ruins (9th century) and Martand Temple ( sun temple) and a famous Baisaran view point, Beetab valley is highly recommended. Over night at hotel.

• Day 7 : Pahalgam - Local sightseeing 27th may 2013.

  After breakfast go for local sightseeing. It is Kashmir's most popular resort surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, high mountain lakes, it also offers 9 hole golf course, skiing, pony trails, angling (rainbow & brown trout) horse ridding, trekking (both hard& soft) & various places of interest in & around like Aru valley, Lidderwat valley, Kolhai glacier, Shesh Nag, Chandanwari(route to holy cave), Baisam & Mamil famous for 9th century old (Shiva Temple) Visit Chandanwari, Baisaran, Sheshnag Lake,Panchtarni,Aru. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

• Day 8 : Pahalgam - Patnitop 28th may 2013.

Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful walks and breath-taking views of the valley of the Chenab basin and the Pir Panjal range beyond. Day at leisure to enjoy the natural beauty. After lunch drive to Patnitop (Vale of Kashmir). On arrival check into hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
