Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu - Katra

  In the evening we drive from Jammu airport/Railway station to Katra. Katra is the base camp for the visitors to the shrine of the Goddess Vaishno Devi situated in the Trikuta hills. This place is visited by nearly four million tourists every year. Overnight Hotel.
• Day 2 : Katra - Vaishno Devi - Katra

  Early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi By Helicopter With VIP Darshan. This temple is situated on the top of the Trikuta hill about 12 km away from Katra. To visit this temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot. Popular belief holds that anybody who walks the Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely goes back disappointed over Night at Katra.
• Day 3 : Katra - Srinagar

  Today Breakfast at Hotel and proceed to Srinagar VIA.. PatniTop ~ is a hill top tourist location in Udhampur district on the National Highway 1A, on the way from Udhampur to Srinagar . PatniTop is a distortion of the original name of "Patna Da Talban" meaning "Pond of the Princess". In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the kings princess often used to have her bath there. Proceed for Srinagar Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 4 : Srinagar - Local - Sonmarg

  This morning after breakfast visit world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), The Chasme Shahi Garden etc. Return to houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get view of some very interesting places around the Lake & Proceed to Sonmarg (meadow of gold), It has sheer scenic splendour. The very way-a metalled road - snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs. After a breath - taking journey from Srinagar you come across Sindh meanders that are abounded with trout & Masher. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier - a major attraction during the summer months. Sonmarg importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see snowy mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. Evening return back to Srinagar . Dinner & Overnight stay at Sonmarg .

• Day 5 : Sonmarg - Baltal - Srinagar

  After very early breakfast, board chopper for Amaranth Cave for Darshan. The route is ascending right up to the cave. Have a dip in the ice-cold water of Amaranth Stream, which flows, outside the cave. Inside the cave there is scenery of calm tranquillity of white and glistering three massive Lingams stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesha. After Darshan, proceed towards Sonmarg over Night Hotel.
• Day 6 : Sonmarg - Gulmarg

  After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. Overnight back to Srinagar Hotel
• Day 7 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam

  Leave Gulmarg after having early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam or the Valley of Shepherds via Srinagar. Drive through the eye-catching Saffron fields, visit Avantipur ruins, an 1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman. The total distance of about 140 km will be covered in about 4 hrs. After reaching Pahalgam, you will be transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the lunch and dinner and spend overnight in the hotel at Pahalgam.
