Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival and Transfer to Srinagar Hotel.

  pon arrival at Srinagar Sheikh Ul Alam Int’l Airport. Transfer to House Boat or Hotel for Check in. In the evening you take a shikara ride on world famous Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc.

• Day 2 : Srinagar Sightseeing / Leisure

  We start our Sightseeing tour by visit of Shankaracharya Temple. And later proceed further to Hazratbal Mosque; Situated in a village on the western shores of the Dal Lake opposite Nishat Bagh. Unlike the other mosques in Srinagar, which have a pagoda like roof, Hazratbal is the only mosque to have a domed roof mosque in Srinagar; the others having distinct pagoda like roofs Gardens &Jamia Masjid, situated in the heart of the old city of Srinagar. In the afternoon, we take a visit to Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa & Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring). The Chashmashahi Mughal garden in Srinagar had been loved by emperors and picnickers alike.

• Day 3 : Day of Sightseeing at Srinagar

  Leisure day in Srinagar, or Enjoy the Shikhara ride in Dal Lake

• Day 4 : Srinagar - Pahalgam

  After a leisurely breakfast, leave for “Pahalgam”. En-route visit saffron Fields & 19th Century Awantipura Ruins. Upon arrival, check in to the pre-arranged Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, Enjoy nature & walk around the bank of river Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. One can go to Aru (10 km from Pahalgam) which is a fine meadow of picturesque scenery and starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier & Trsar Lake) Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari.

• Day 5 : Pahalgam - Sonmarg

  The place provides an ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountain lakes, glaciers, and Sri Amarnath Holy cave. Sonamarg’s importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajwas Glacier, Which is a major local attraction during the summer.

• NOTE: Please be informed that commercial & private vehicle of Srinagar city are not allowed to do entire movement (sightseeing coverage of internal areas) in Pahalgam & Sonamarg which includes trip to Aru, Chandanwari & Betaab Valley in Pahalgam, Trip to Thajiwas in Sonamarg; Vehicle upto Gondola Station in Gulmarg due to local union restriction at these particular places. Therefore, local vehicles can be booked by us or directly on spot on Extra Cost for internal mentioned places.
