Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVE SRINAGAR

  You will be met by our representative at the Srinagar airport. He will assist and transfer you to the ho. Morning sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. Cheshma shahi garden ,pari mahal , Old city hazratbal shrine All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Afternoon will be at your leisure for individual activitiesIn the evening you will take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikara there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc overnight in a deluxe houseboat

• Day 2 : SRINAGAR – GULMARG - SRINAGAR

  Morning proceeds for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. above the sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region, also enjoy cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride up to khilanmarg.(on direct hire basis) In the evening drive back to Srinagar. • Day 3 : SRINAGAR – SONMARG - SRINAGAR

  Morning proceeds for Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). Sonamarg is (2800 Meters above from sea level), which means (Meadow of Golden) has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer, snow trout can be caught in the mail river, the visitors can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. Ponies can be hired on a direct hire basis) for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, a major attraction during the summer months. In the evening return back to Srinagar. overnight in a deluxe hotel.

• Day 4 : Doodhpathri day trip (42 kms/ 2 to 3 hrs)

  Doodhpathri, valley of milk, located in Budgam district, lies in bowl shaped valley in Pir Panjal Range. Its an alpine valley covered with snowclad mountains. After some quiet and peaceful time at Doodhpathri, be back to Srinagar for overnight stay.

• Day 5 : SRINAGAR– PAHALGAM

  After Breakfast proceed to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds).The total distance is about 96 kms, will be covered in about 3 hours. En-route, visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Drive throught the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Overnight in hotel

• Day 6 : PAHALGAM

  After Breakfast ,One can also enjoy a Cab ride to nearby places like Aru valley ,betab valley , Chandanwadi (on a direct hire basis). Overnight in hotel

  After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to Katra. Overnight in hotel

• Day 8 : KATRA – VAISHNO DEVI – KATRA

  Early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. To visit this temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot. From Katra the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 12 kms. After visiting the temple we return back to Katra the same day. Overnight in hotel

• Day 9 : Katra – Amritsar

  After breakfast , drive to Katra Railway Station for onward destination. On arrival Amritsar transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel. Overnight in Amritsar.

• Day 10 : Amritsar Sightseeing

  After a healthy breakfast, you will visit to different tourist attraction places in Amritsar. The list includes Golden Temple (known as Harmandir Sahib), Jallianwala Bagh and Ram Bagh. Jallianwala Bagh has a sad history where many people were massacred by East Indian Company during Revolution time. The main allurement of Ram Bagh is the summer palace museum of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which also has a history of its own. At around 3pm, you will visit Wagah Border to witness the astounding Closing Ceremony which starts sharply by 5:30 pm every day. It is a daily military practice that the security forces from India and Pakistan perform. Border closing ‘lowering the flags’ ceremony takes place every evening before the sun set at the Wagah Border. The ceremony starts with an energizing parade by the soldiers from both sides and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the flags of two nations. After the ceremony, you will return back to the hotel. Overnight in Amritsar.
