Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL FROM SRINAGAR AIRPORT

  On arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle & drive towards Srinagar Hotel. The valley delights you with multi hues of nature communicated through lush green slopes, tender meadows and prairie of vibrant flowers. The capital city of Kashmir- Srinagar is world renowned for its handloom that produces woolen garments and Pashmina shawls. Srinagar also acquaints you with the local handicrafts and hand carved wooden furniture made out of walnut tree. Dinner overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

• Day 2 : SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast in hotel at Srinagar proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankracharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar. These gardens were Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots. Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake exploring the local markets. Overnight and dinner at hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 3 : SRINAGAR -- GULMARG -- SRINAGAR

  After a healthy breakfast in the morning, drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating. You will be mesmerized by its beauty. Gulmarg is famous all over the world for Skiing and Snowboarding. During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the Britishers and Europeans and as such they created a European hill resort and named it Gulmarg. . In Gulmarg you would be able to find European surroundings and 18-hole Golf Course and enjoy Gondola Cable Car Ride world’s highest and the Asia’s longest cable car (at your own cost). Enjoy photography, horse riding and shopping at this beautiful snow point and enjoy gondola ride to Kongdori & Appahrwhat. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner & overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

• Day 4 : SRINAGAR –SONMARG –SRINAGAR & HOUSEBOAT STAY

  After a healthy breakfast in the morning, you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold’ Sonmarg. Sonmarg is last stop of Kashmir district. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of2743m above sea level. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and masher fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner & overnight stay in houseboat.

• Day 5 : SRINAGAR -- PAHALGAM -- STAY

  In the morning after breakfast, leave for Pahalgam the 'valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheshnag Lake. En route visit the Awantipora ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaran, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers good view and u will proceed for Aru valley, and Chandanwari by car (at your own cost). Aru is small village, 11 kms upstream the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan and Beetab valley on the way to Chandanwari. Later drive to Srinagar. After that check in to the houseboat. Dinner & overnight stay in Hotel in Pahalgam.

• The Company is Responsible for only those services which are charged from the guest. All other services which are not paid by the guest to the Company are suggested services and company is nowhere bound to provide that service or pay the cost for the same.
• UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES
• If due to reasons beyond our control like riots, flood, accidents or any other natural or man-made calamities, the program of the tour has to be changed or extended, the additional expenditure for the same will have to be borne by the passengers. As if any passengers, has to leave the tour mid-way, due to any reasons like death of relative, or illness or any other reasons, there shall be no refund for the remaining portion of the tour.
• RESERVATION POLICY
• Confirmation of the packages is subject to receipt of 100% Payment: 50% of the payment as advance and rest of the amount on or before 10 days of the tour date otherwise booking will be released automatically without any further intimation from our end. In case when the trip is booked only within 10 days of the tour date100 of the payment has to be made while booking.
• CHILD POLICY

• OTHER ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• SONMARG: After Sonmarg, there is a Point called Zero point away from Sonmarg, Thajiwas Glacier and activities like Fish Point (Under Water Balloon Ride). There is only a Union Cab, Charges for Union Cab: 3000/-to 3500/- (Negotiable) Please bargain to your max.
• GULMARG: You have to book cab from Tangmarg to Gulmarg on spot by yourself that will cost you approx 2200. In Gulmarg don’t appoint any guide or don’t book any cab for local sightseen as its not worth there. Do all activities by yourself. Gondola Ride is there (Rope Way). In Gondola, you will find Snow and other activities related to snow. Tickets Are fixed as per Govt. fare i.e. Rs. 810 for 1st phase & 1010 for 2nd phase. You have to book it online.
• PAHALGAM: Chandanwari, Aru Valley & Betaab Valley is there, where only Union Taxi is allowed and the fare as per the vehicle rates starts from 1250 to 2100 (Depends on Points).
• BAISARAN: This is the best place to visit in Pahalgam though it is not a snow covered area but the place have its own natural beauty. Either you go by walk or by Horse Riding, or other activities are there.
• In Karta for Pithu / Palki / Pony services Municipal Committee Karta has fixed the rates and they are displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga. If someone is over charging above the listed rates its upto youhow hard you can bargain.
• In Srinagar if you are staying at the Houseboat: - Shikara Ride are complimentary, do not pay for the same.
• It is not mandatory for guest to take ponies in Gulmarg & Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots, all the major tourist attraction point are in close proximity so you can walk it down. However if still you wish to take poly ride / sledging / rafting etc the rates the highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max.
• Sightseeing to Aru Valley / Betaab Valley / Chandanwari at Pahalgam will be by local taxi union only. Due to union outside vehicles cannot enter these places. The rates are fixed. You have to pay extra directly.
• If need to modify the quote/itinerary or if price is not fitting in your budget, then let agent know directly.
• In case of road closure due to snow and slippery roads, our vehicle will not be allowed to ply as a precautionary measure. This is as per govt./administration orders. Only snow jeeps/chained vehicles are allowed to ply. These vehicles can be hired on a direct payment basis or the same can be arranged by us at an additional cost.
