Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu/Katra

  Arrive Jammu and transfer to Katra. A distance of about 50 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. On arrival in Katra, transfer to hotel. Dinner Overnight in hotel

• Day 2 : In Katra

  After breakfast leave for trek to Vaishnodevi shrine for darshan. The shrine is approachable on foot or by ponies (12 kms each way). Late evening return to Katra .Dinner overnight in hotel

• Day 3 : Katra/Srinagar

  After breakfast leave for Srinagar. A distance of about 200 kms will be covered in about 7 hrs. On arrival in Srinagar, transfer to Deluxe Houseboats . Dinner Overnight in Deluxe Houseboat

• Day 4 : In Srinagar

  Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.
  Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration.Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats

  • Hotspots : Dal Lake

• Day 5 : Srinagar/Sonamarg/Srinagar

  Full day excursion to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow). The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains.
  Enjoy horse riding upto Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys, Horse Riding

• Day 6 : Srinagar /Gulmarg/Srinagar

  Full day trip Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits.
  The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. Dinner and overnight in Deluxe Houseboats

• Day 7 : Srinagar/Pahalgam

  After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). The distance of about 96 kms will be covered in about 3 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman)
  Afternoon have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.
  Dinner overnight in Hotel

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 8 : Pahalgam/Jammu

  After breakfast drive to Jammu a distance of 300 Kms will be covered in about 10 hrs. On arrival transfer to railway station to board train for onward destination
