Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive

  Arrival at Guwahati, the gateway of north east & proceed directly to Kaziranga National Park (4 hours approx). Check in to hotel and rest for the day & overnight.

• Day 2 : The Home of Rhinoceros

  Enjoy the beauty of the national park which is popularly known as "the home of rhinoceros", experience the wildlife (Jeep Safari / Elephant Ride).

  • Themes : Jeep Safari

• Day 3 : Scotland of the East

  After breakfast transfer to the "Scotland of the East" Shillong. Enroute visit the source of water for the hill station Barapani or Umiam Lake. Evening & overnight at leisure

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 4 : Visit Elephant Falls

  Visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak at Shillong & proceed to Cherrapunji (worlds highest rain fall zone) which is 56 km / about 1.5 hrs drive. Enjoy the beautiful falls of Cherrapunji, the beautiful landscapes of Meghalaya hills including Asia's 2nd highest falls “Naukalikhai“. Back to Shillong in the evening and rest of day at leisure.

  • Hotspots : Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak

• Day 5 : Morning Rest for Shopping

  Morning rest for shopping / at leisure and afternoon (check out time: 12 noon) transfer to Guwahati via- Umiam Lake (Barapani). Evening at leisure

• Day 6 : Sightseeing

  Post breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour covering Kamakhya Temple, Sankardev Kalakhetra, Nabagraha Temple, Bashista Ashram, Saraighat Bridge & Umananda (Jalpari optional & not included). Evening experience typical
