Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Day 1: Haridwar to Guptkashi/Sonprayag/Sersi/Phata.

  Distance: 210 km from Rishikesh and 230 km from Haridwar
  Journey Time: 7-8 hours
  Travel: Reach Guptkashi/Sonprayag by road from major cities like Dehradun, Haridwar, or Rishikesh.
  Activities: Rest and prepare for the trek, visit Gauri Mata Temple, and enjoy the hot springs.
  7:00 am:
  Pick-up from Haridwar Meet our driver at your hotel or desired location in Haridwar at 07:00 am. Driven by the Ganges River and surrounded by forested hills, Rishikesh (gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas) is known for its medieval history when Lord Rama.
  08:00 am:
  Rishikesh Pickup Time Arrive in Rishikesh, which is about 20 kilometers from Haridwar and takes approximately 30-45 minutes to drive. Rishikesh is known as the "Yoga Capital of the World" with a spiritual gateway and is surrounded by numerous renowned temples and ashrams. Triveni Ghat, where every evening the aarti is performed, or you can visit Beatles Ashram to see its tranquil surroundings and rich history. It’s only a quick break but also offers you an insight into what Rishikesh is all about.
  
  Continue the Journey to Guptkashi:
  Once you have taken your short break, you will then continue on your drive to Guptkashi which is roughly about 180 kilometers from Rishikesh. This part of the journey usually takes about 6-7 hours depending upon traffic and road conditions. The drive offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayas, lush green valleys, and meandering rivers thus making it a majestic and pleasurable journey.
  
  Arrival in Guptkashi:
  You should reach Guptkashi by late afternoon or early evening. Being a small but important stopover for Kedarnath-bound travelers, you can do well to relax here and get acclimatized before you trek on. Guptkashi is renowned for its ancient Vishwanath Temple, as well as the famous Ardhnareshwar Temple. Be sure to allocate time to visit both!

• Day 2 : Day 2: Guptkashi/Sonprayag/Sersi/Phata to Gaurikund to Kedarnath.

  Distance: 30 km drive to Sonaprayag, 16 km trek to Kedarnath
  Journey Time: 1 hour by drive, 8-9 hours by trek
  Highlights: Trek through the picturesque valley, passing Rambara, and Bhairav Temple.
  Accommodation: Stay in guesthouses, camps, or lodges near Kedarnath Temple.
  Trek Start from Gaurikund:
  You need to start really early from Guptkashi and drive to Gaurikund which acts as the base camp for the Kedarnath trek. The region is quite famous for its hot water springs and also the Gauri Mata Temple where you can seek blessings before starting your trek. The trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath is about 16 kilometers long with easy to medium kind of gradients and after initial 7-8 kilometers we have a combination of steep gradients followed by a flat walk for the rest of the distance.
  
  Key Points on the Trek During the trek you will be passing through a few important points:
  Rambara:A mid-point having resting spots and scenic beauty. One can take short halts here enjoying the beauty of nature.
  Bhairav Temple:It is located near Kedarnath hilltop, from where you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the Valley and mountains. This temple is supposed to keep evil out of the region.
  Reaching Kedarnath Arrive:
  In Kedarnath by late afternoon or early evening. Check into your accommodation, which could be guesthouses, camps, or lodges. Then, in the evening, visit the Kedarnath Temple for the aarti (prayer ceremony); it is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva and is the spiritual high point of this journey. The temple is situated amongst snow-covered mountains and visiting it gives you peace like no other.

• Day 3 : Kedarnath to Gaurikund by Trek to Sonaprayag to Haridwar.

  Activities: Visit Kedarnath Temple for early morning prayers, and explore nearby attractions like Gandhi Sarovar.
  Return: Begin the descent back to Gaurikund.
  Kedarnath Mornings:
  We will start your day with morning prayer at the Kedarnath temple. Following the morning Maha-Abhishek 4:00 am bells chanting, general public Puja will initiate at 6:00 am and we will then take you on the sightseeing tour of Gandhi Sarovar and Gaurikund.
  
  Trek Back to Gaurikund:
  After breakfast, trek back to Gaurikund by retracing your steps via the same scenic trail. The drive from Gaurikund-Sonprayag is around 5 km so it takes around 30 minutes to reach. Arrive in Gaurikund and drive back to Sonprayag (5km/1hr). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
  
  From Gaurikund to Haridwar:
  Afterwards, drive to Haridwar from Sonprayag. The journey from Sonprayag to Haridwar covers approximately 225 kilometers and typically takes 7-8 hours. Along the scenic route, you’ll pass through charming towns and picturesque landscapes. Whether you choose to stay overnight in Rishikesh/Haridwar or continue your journey depends on your plans.
  
  Arrival in Haridwar:
  Arrive in Haridwar by late hours in the evening. Do late-night prayer in Haridwar or go back to home, according to your plane. Haridwar is an important religious destination of Hindus so arranging the stay here is not a big deal. Here attending the evening atrii also becomes an attraction point which is organized on Har Ki Pauri.
