The present temple built in the 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam - the main idol, a statue of Nandi - the celestial bull, a 'GarbaGrah' for worship, and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Mumbai to Delhi.

  Board in the train from Mumbai to Delhi.

• Day 2 : Delhi to Haridwar (220 Km 5 - 6 Hrs. Travelling to Haridwar)

  Start Yatra from Delhi to Haridwar. In the Evening visit Maa Ganga Aarti at Harki Paudi . Dinner & Overnight Stay at Haridwar

  • Themes : Religious & Pilgrimage

• Day 3 : DAY 3: Haridwar to Guptkashi (206 km 6-7 Hrs. Travelling to Guptkashi)

  After breakfast, move for Guptkashi. Leave early in the morning for the drive to Guptkashi Dinner & Overnight Stay at Guptkashi

  • Themes : Religious & Pilgrimage

• Day 4 : DAY 4: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (35 km by Vehicle and 21 km by Walking / Trek)

  After breakfast, start Yatra for Kedarnath Dham. Bhaironath Temple :-About half a kilometer away from Kedarnathji, a small temple is dedicated to Bhaironath. It is worshipped on the opening and closing day of Sri Kedarnath Shrine. It is believed that when Kedarnathji temple is closed. Bhaironathji protects this land from evil.
  Take Dinner at Hotel & Overnight Stay at Kedarnath

• Day 5 : Kedarnath to Guptkashi (21 km by foot and 35 km. from Vehicle)

  After breakfast, move for Guptkashi. Full day free to explore the Guptkashi. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Guptkashi

• Day 6 : Guptkashi to Rishikesh (206 km 6-7 Hrs. Traveling to Rishikesh)

  After Breakfast, Move for Rishikesh. Reach in the evening have leisure time in Rishikesh. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Camps.

  • Themes : Water Rafting

• Day 7 : Rishikesh to Delhi (220 Km 5 - 6 Hrs. Travelling to Delhi)

  After Breakfast then proceeds to Adventures activities in Rishikesh (Rafting, Bungee jumping, Body surfing & many more) after then proceed to Delhi to catch the train & flight. (BREAKFAST & DINNER) & Overnight journey
