Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive

  On the first day of our Zanzibar tours you will first touch down in Africa at Joma Kenyatta International Airport. The adventure begins! A Sentinel representative will be cheerfully waiting to meet you on arrival and transfer you to Fairview Hotel, Nairobi for check-in and an overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Amboseli National Park

  After your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport where you will fly to Amboseli National Park, a park that beautifully demonstrates the uniqueness of Kenya. It is well known for its high population of elephant and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro which rises to over 19,000 feet above Amboseli's acacia dotted grasslands. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa's highest mountain and the world's highest freestanding mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro. Check-in to the luxurious Satao Elerai Camp which is found within its own conservancy.

• Day 3 : Zanzibar

  On day 3 of our Zanzibar tours, after breakfast, your day will be filled with various activities such as 2 extended game drives, guided walks, night game drive on conservation, a bush sundowner and an authentic visit to Elerai cultural boma. The wildlife to be seen here includes Masai giraffe, hyena, lion Oryx, buffalo, various gazelle and antelope, leopard, cheetah and over 4000 species of birds.

• Day 4 : Sightseeing

  This morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred by your private guide to Amboseli airstrip for your early morning flight to Nairobi and a later connection to Masai Mara National Reserve, often referred to as "the safari jewel". Your Mara flight is scheduled to depart at 10h30 and the flight duration is around 1 hour depending on bush-stop overs. A Sentinel driver guide will receive you as you disembark your Air Kenya flight. You will have a game drive on route to the camp where you will settle in at Sentinel Mara Camp; an exclusive tented eco camp set up in a forest along the banks of the Mara River within the Masai Mara Reserve offering guests an authentic close to nature experience.

• Day 5 : Sightseeing

  After breakfast, your days will be filled with various activities such as early morning and late afternoon game drives, nature walks, sundowners, evening drinks by the campfire, starlit dinners and so much more! Our friendly staff will ensure you have an unforgettable experience.
  
  You will have the opportunity to visit a local Masai village to observe the traditional Masai way of life. Our Masai staff will be available to talk about Masai customs and culture around the campfire in the evenings. The more energetic can learn how to shoot with a bow and arrow as well as learn how to throw a spear or rungu.

• Day 6 : Sightseeing

  After breakfast, if you would like, you could enjoy an early morning hot air balloon ride looking out over the stunning landscape of the Mara Plains. You might also have a chance to visit the local Maasai village to learn about the customs and way of life of the Maa tribe. Our bespoke approach ensures that your daily routine is flexible and tailored around the particular preferences of each group of guests.

• Day 7 : Nairobi To Zanzibar

  After your lunch and one last look at the African bush, you will board your flight to Nairobi. You will be met by a Sentinel representative who will transfer you from Wilson Airport to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar.

• Day 10 :

  With a mesmerising mix of influences from the Indian subcontinent, the Arabian Peninsula, the African mainland and Europe, there's an activity for everyone. On the last leg of our Zanzibar tours, make sure to take a food and spices tour, the old Stone Town tour or relax on one of our Zanzibar tours along the gorgeous beaches on the spectacular Zanzibar coastline - you really are spoiled for choice!
