Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Amboseli National Park

  Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, briefed by a representative from Abana Safaris and depart on your Kenyan Safari southwards to Amboseli National Park famous for being the best place in Africa to see free-ranging elephants. The park also has a spectacular view of the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch and at 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
• Day 2 : Amboseli National Park

  Full Day in Amboseli with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks. It lies 150 miles south-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
• Day 3 : Lake Nakuru National Park

  After breakfast, depart for Nakuru via Nairobi with picnic lunch boxes. Drive past Nairobi drive towards the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at Flamingo Hill Camp in mid afternoon. At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in park that also takes you to the shores of the lake famous for its birdlife, especially flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp.
• Day 4 : Full day at Lake Nakuru National Park

  Full day at Nakuru, with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, white rhinos, buffalos and a wide variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp.
• Day 5 : Masai Mara National Reserve

  Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous game reserve, the Masai Mara arriving at Keekorok Lodge in time for lunch. At 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
• Day 6 : Masai Mara National Reserve

  Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them. All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge / Similar.
• Day 7 : Depart

  Depart the Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant, justifiably referred to as Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience, having twice been voted amongst the world’s 50 best restaurants by UK based Restaurant magazine. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport for your flight back home.
