Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi

  Arrive NAIROBI. After Immigrations, Customs & Baggage Collection transfers to check in HOTEL INTERCONTINENTAL or similar. Afternoon pick up for Karen Blixen & Giraffe Centre Tour, which takes about 3 hours. Visit the Karen Blixen Museum - the original home of the talented writer. It provides a glimpse into the past, which is part of Kenya's history. Later drive to see & feed daisy, Famous Rothschild giraffe & her family at their beautiful home overlooking the hills. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Nairobi - Masai Mara

  Check out & transfer by a professional Safari Driver guide to Masai Mara, This drive takes you through the floor of Great Rift Valley & you will see small-scale farmlands and livestock. Afternoon check in MARA SOPA LODGE or similar. Afternoon game viewings drive in the reserve. The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion's roar, a cheetah making a kill, a leopard with it's kill high up on a tree, and the big elephant herds mingling freely with other plains game are all very fascinating events. Also meet the Masai who are the inhabitants of this reserve and are a proud and largely aloof tribe who has held on to their customs and traditions for hundreds of years. Dinner. Overnight at lodge.

• Day 3 : Masai Mara

  Early morning game viewing drive in rolling hills, woodlands & rivers that makes up the Mara in search of more game. The animals are more active at this time of the day. Return to the camp for breakfast. Visit Masai village interacting with the villagers, songs and dancing performed while experiencing the real Masai way of life - Optional. Afternoon game viewings drive in the Mara. Watch wildlife videos - Optional. Dinner. Overnight at lodge.

• Day 4 : Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

  Check out & drive to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. On arrival check in SAROVA LION HILL LODGE or similar. Afternoon game viewing drives in the National Park. This National Park is world renowned for its population of Flamingos, which number thousands upon thousands. Other wild animals found in this park include the Rhino, Lion, Cheetah & most exclusive Cats & Leopard. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 5 : Lake Nakuru - Aberdares (the Ark)

  Check out & drive to Aberdares National Park. The drive takes you through rich agricultural farmland and you will get to see and take pictures of the scenic Aberdare ranges. Aberdares country club - the base hotel for The Ark. Transfer in club vehicle to The ARK. Game viewing at a tree hotel is different in that the animals come to see you instead of you going to them. Spend the night comfortably watching forest game as they come to saltlick at the flood lit waterhole and saltlick. Dinner. Overnight at The Ark. Please note that a small overnight bag is allowed at The Ark, rest is stored at the club to be retrieved the following morning.

• Day 6 : Aberdares (the Ark) - Mt. Kenya

  Check out & transfer to Aberdare Country Club & drive to Mount Kenya Safari Club or similar. Also stop at the equator for demonstration. On rival to Mt. Kenya check in hotel. Relax or enjoy optional activities like Horse Riding, Golf, Tennis, etc. In the extensive gardens of the club, where peacocks and other exotic birds roam at will. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 7 : Mt. Kenya - Nairobi

  Check out & drive to airport to board the flight to your Destination.
