Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Nairobi

  On arrival at Nairobi International airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. The city has its share of well planned buildings and architecture. It is the Garden city of Nairobi. Rest of the city is free at leisure. Overnight in Nairobi.

• Day 2 : Samburu

  After breakfast drive north through rich farming areas and across the Equator to the semi-arid and rugged landscape of Samburu National Reserve (360 kms).Check In at Samburu Sopa lodge. The lodge is built atop raised ground allowing panoramic views of distant Samburu hills to one side and El Ndonyo Keri on the other. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar. Overnight in Samburu.

• Day 3 : Samburu

  Full day free at leisure. You can visit Samburu village or can enjoy Bird watching. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar.Overnight in Samburu.

• Day 4 : Samburu - Aberdares

  After breakfast drive to the Aberdare Highlands arriving at the Aberdare Country Club for lunch(220 kms). After lunch transfer to Ark in the lodges own vehicle with overnight bags (main luggage is stored at the Outspan Hotel for collection the following day). Afternoon at leisure to enjoy an excellent view of animals visiting the waterhole from the observation platforms of the lodge.Dinner and overnight at The Ark or similar.

• Day 5 : Lake Naivasha

  After an early breakfast drive into the Great Rift Valley to the Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch (240 kms). Afternoon at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions including guided walks with naturalists or boat rides (book and pay locally). Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha.

• Day 6 : Masai Mara

  After an early breakfast drive to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge (270 kms). Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive in one of the world’s finest game reserves. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara.

• Day 7 : Masai Mara

  An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara.
