Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Kochi Kochi

  Welcome to Kochi, popularly known as “THE QUEEN OF ARABIAN SEA”. On arrival at the Kochi international airport start your journey to the hotel in Kochi. Check-in into the hotel and relax. One may go explore the local markets of Kochi for a little souvenir quest. (By own) In the evening meet & greet with your Tour Manager & co travellers of the Group. Dinner will be served at Hotel.

  Note: Lunch will be served at respective hotel if guests reach the Hotel before 14:00 hrs.

• Day 2 : Kochi To Munnar [Approx. 130 KMS / 4.5-Hour Drive] Munnar

  Relish delicious breakfast at the hotel and check-out from Hotel by 08:30 AM to explore a few nearby tourist attractions of Kochi. Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace - (closed on Fridays and public holidays), which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663. Visit the Jewish Synagogue (closed on all Saturdays and Jewish holidays), Visit St. Francis Church - (closed on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs) the oldest European Church in India, See the Chinese Fishing Nets, along the tip of Fort Cochin unique to this part of Kerala and living symbols of a centuries-old Chinese influence on this coast.
  
  After Fort Kochi sightseeing proceed to Marine drive by local ferry & India’s first Water Metro. Tea / Coffee break at Marine drive.
  
  After Lunch start your journey to the hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’ and will surely hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way stopover for Tea / Coffee break & later visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls & Valara Waterfalls. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked-in to a hotel.

• Day 3 : Munnar Munnar

  After a satisfying breakfast get ready by 08:30 AM to leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Smell the aroma of tea plantations in Munnar and spot the elusive Nilgiri Tahr at Eravikulam National Park, enroute visit Tea Estates.
  
  After sightseeing proceed for Lunch at local restaurant. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point, Pothenmedu View Point, The Blossom Hydel Park and Munnar Botanical Garden & local market. Tea / Coffee break. After visiting the attractions, you will be driven back to the hotel for a comfortable stay. Dinner will be served at Hotel.

  Note: Eravikulam National park is closed from 1st Feb to 31st March due to breeding season of the Nilgiri Tahr. Alternate sightseeing will be provided as per feasibility and time.

• Day 4 : Munnar To Thekkady [Approx. 120 KMS / 4-Hour Drive] Thekkady:

  After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel at 08:30 AM and we will drive you to a next highly picturesque destination Thekkady. Enroute visit Tea Factory & Spice Plantation. Tea / Coffee break. After sightseeing proceed for Lunch at local restaurant. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for some time. Later walk on the street on Thekkady and visit Elephant Junction to enjoy Elephant Ride & also watch a live show of Kalaripayattu (Kerala Martial arts). After a joyful day return back to hotel & have Relaxing Foot Massage for 15 Minutes (Only for adults 18 years and above). Dinner will be served at Hotel.

• Day 5 : Thekkady – Alleppey [Approx. 140 KMS / 3.5-Hour Drive] Alleppey:

  This morning after a delicious breakfast, checkout from hotel 08:30 and you will be driven to Alleppey. Alappuzha (Alleppey) is famous as ‘the Venice of the East’. Tea / Coffee break. Enjoy Houseboat cruise with Lunch at Alleppey on Backwaters. Later proceed to the hotel for a comfortable stay. Dinner will be served at Hotel.

• Force Majure
• The tour prices printed / advertised / quoted to Client are dynamic prices. The person booking tour early is likely to get the lowest price as communicated / offered by the Company, subject to availability of seats. Similarly, person booking tour at the last will be offered the highest prices. This pricing module has been adopted to get early bookings on tours. Hence it is quite obvious that persons travelling on a same group tour are likely to have paid different tour prices. The Company will not entertain any claim whatsoever on account of the same. Also it is clear agreement between either parties that the prices quoted in the proposal / brochure have been calculated based upon the prevailing hotel / transport tariffs and applicable taxes thereon at the time of printing this brochure. The Company reserves the right to amend the price published in this brochure in case of costs increased before the date of departure. All such increases in price must be paid for in full before departure by the Client

• Any claim or complaint by the Client must be notified to the Company in writing within 28 days of the end of this holiday tour. No claim notified to this Company beyond this period will be entertained and the Company shall incur no liability whatsoever in respect thereof
• It is hereby declared that the immunities provided under this Contract shall be available to the Company’s managers, including Tour managers, employees, servants and agents but not to the Independent Contractors selected by the Company
• Each of this condition shall be severable from the other end if any provision be invalid, illegal or unenforceable. The remaining provisions shall nevertheless have full force and effect
• Hotel
• We have mentioned the indicative names of the Hotels for each tour. We reserve the right to change the same due to unavoidable circumstances. In that case we may provide alternative, similar accommodation for which we are not liable to pay any refund. We will not be responsible or liable in case of loss of property or life at the Hotel. Similarly any damages caused to the hotel rooms during your stay, shall be payable by the Clients and the Company will not be liable for the same

Terms & Conditions

• If the Client is willing to amend or cancel his/her booking because of whatsoever reasons including death, accident, illness, or any other personal reasons including non-payment of the balance payment, the Company is liable to recover Cancellation charges from the Client:
• When a Cancellation Is made Cancellation Charges per person
• on or before 30 days prior to the departure of the Tour Initial deposit amount
• 29 -15 Days prior to the departure of the Tour 50%of the Total Tour Cost OR Initial deposit amount Whichever is higher
• 14 days or less prior to date of departure or a "No Show " on the tour 100%of the Total Tour Cost
• Also note that in case of any restriction/health issue( guest gets covid +ve), we will be avoiding charging any cancellation basis documets been shared .The credit note for the same amount will be issued which guest can use in future. During any amendment /cancellation - airline cancellation(wherever applicable) will be charged as per airline policies.
• Any amendment in the original booking has to be given to us in writing. All changes will be processed only after the receipt of the same by the Company. However, if any of the amendment requests results in cancellation of one or more services, then the Company is liable to recover cancellation charges as indicated in the above-mentioned table
• The above-mentioned cancellation charges are applicable only against the main Tour and optional tours published by the Company. If the Client has booked any other services such as air / train tickets or any third party product, then the Company is liable to recover cancellation charges as per cancellation terms of respective airline / railways or the cancellation terms of respective third party. The Company is also liable to recover its service charges against booking and cancelling such services for the Client.
• Refunds
• Refunds (If any) for amendments and/or cancellations will be paid directly to the Client for booking made directly with the Company by way of Demand draft/Crossed cheque/ Cash at the discretion of the Company. For Bookings routed through our Preferred Sales Agents or Travel agent, the refunds will be routed through them. It would atleast take 30 days to process refunds. There is no refund payable for any unutilized services (e.g. Meals, Entrance Fees, Optional Tours, Hotels, and Sightseeing etc.) for any reason whatsoever
• Conditions of Travel
• The client will have to strictly follow the Tour Program. There shall be no refund, if the client fails to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or joins the group later or leaves the group before culmination of the tour. It shall be noted that for all purposes, it shall be the responsibility of the Client to reach the place of commencement of the Tour and register with the representative of the Company at the appointed place, date and time
• In case where a client along with his family is compelled to discontinue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of any travel documents, no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services. Even if a client is unable to reach the place of commencement of the tour due to any reason whatsoever including loss of baggage or loss of travel documents, his booking shall be treated as 'no show' on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied
• If a client avails pre - tour services or part thereof, or the air tickets (if booked under the offer) but fails to join the group for the main tour at the appointed place, or cancels the tour after using the air tickets or pre - tour arrangements or part thereof, it shall be treated as 'no show' and there will be no refund whatsoever for the unutilized pre-tour or main tour services
• The Company reserves the right to withdraw tour membership of any client whose behavior is deemed likely to affect the smooth operation of the tour or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers and the Company shall be under no liability to any such person
• The immunities provided under this contract shall be available to THE COMPANY's employees, directors, managers, including, Employees and Agents but not to the Independent Contractors selected by THE COMPANY
• Each of these conditions shall be severable from the other and if any provision be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall nevertheless have full force and effect. No liability on the part of THE COMPANY arising in any way out of the Contract in respect of any tour, holiday, excursion facilities shall exceed the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the tour holiday, and shall in no case include any consequential, incidental loss or additional expense whatsoever
• It is a condition of Booking that the client takes out a Holiday Insurance. – Client may procure travel insurance (optional) at their own cost. THE COMPANY will not provide any assistance in obtaining any travel insurance
• The prices quoted in this brochure have been calculated at the rate prevailing at the time of printing of this brochure. THE COMPANY reserves the right to amend the prices published in this brochure in case of fuel costs, special/high season charge levied by the suppliers, hike in the airline/rail charges before the date of departure and to surcharge accordingly. The Client must pay for all such increases in price in full before the departure
• If no suit/action is brought against THE COMPANY within 15 days of the last day of the domestic tour, THE COMPANY shall be discharged from all liabilities under/or arising out of this Contract and the Client shall be deemed to have Relinquished/abandoned all his rights under or arising from this Contract
• If the client books with a travel agent and such booking with that agent includes, but is not limited to THE COMPANY arrangements, the contract is with clients' travel agent and THE COMPANY is a supplier to clients' travel agent
• In case of publication of any travel scheme offering any discount or benefit by THE COMPANY, THE COMPANY shall have the sole right to withdraw such a scheme or discount at any time unless a specific assurance of the contrary is published
• Meals
• The menus are pre – set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions as printed in our brochure. The meals will be served either at restaurants of hotel of stay or the same could be arranged at local restaurants. The enroute meals or meals during excursions could be packed meals or served by enroute/local restaurants / dhabas. We cannot process a specialmeal nor do we guarantee the special diet to the customer.We however reserve the right to change the meal arrangement if circumstances make it necessary to do so. If a tour participant does not avail his/her meal in stipulated time; he/she has to avail the meal on his/her own arrangement and expenses. No claim can be made for the meal which he/she has missed and not utilized
• Declaration by the Client
• I /We have read and accepted the above-mentioned terms & conditions on behalf of the person(s) whose name appears in Booking Form and I am /we are aware that I / we shall be abide by the same. I /We have also read the brochure / tour itinerary and notes there-in along with the ‘Tips for Smooth Travel’ and I accept the same. I /We have been given the copies of all the above-mentioned documents
• You agree to unconditionally abide, adhere and comply solely at your costs and expenses to all laws, rules, notifications, Travel advisories, guidelines, directives, and communications issued from time to time by all or any Governments, Authorities, Ministries, Departments, Local Bodies in India or Abroad, related to your tour to the foreign destination and/or on your return from the tour to your home destination in India or Abroad including but not limited to Covid-19 Protocols on quarantine, vaccinations, etc. or in connection with any other Pandemic, epidemic, disease, condition, etc., which may be communicated by all or any Governments, Authorities, Ministries, Departments, Local Bodies in India or Abroad with or without notice at any point of time whether at the commencement of the tour, during the tour and/or on the completion of the tour, as the case may be

• I hereby declare that the total amount of foreign exchange purchased from or remitted through, all sources in India during the financial year is within the overall limit of USD 250,000/- (US Dollars Two hundred and Fifty Thousand only), which is the limit prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India for the pupose and certify that the source of funds for purchasing the foreign exchange/ making the said remittance belongs to me and the foreign exchange will not be used for prohibited purpose.

• We also hereby agree and undertake to give such information/documents as will reasonably satisfy you about this transaction in terms of above declaration. We also undertake that if we refuse to comply with any such requirement or make only unsatisfactory compliance therewith TCIL shall refuse in writing to undertake such transaction.
• Convenience Fee charged during any transaction would be NON-REFUNDABLE.
• These transactions are subject to the availability of the currency mentioned herein. If the required currency is not available the same will be communicated to you by our representative. Upon your confirmation the transaction can be given in the other currency.
• The receipt issued by TCIL is subject to the amount being irrevocably credited and realised in TCIL’s Bank account.
• In case of online/electronic payment of monies to the designated TCIL bank account, I/We undertake to irrevocably credit and realise the monies dues in TCIL’s Bank account and not issue any instructions to my/our banker or cause to do any act, deed or thing in furtherance of reversing, debiting, nullifying or recovering the due credit made to the TCIL’s Bank account.. I/We further undertake and confirm that I/we shall be bound to pay the monies towards the tour cost, to TCIL, if the same is reversed, debited, nullified, or recovered from TCIL’s Bank Account due to any technical snag, system error, internet issues or for any reason whatsoever, I/WE shall voluntarily make good the loss caused to TCIL due to such reversal, debit, nullity, recovery of monies from TCIL’s Bank account without waiting for any official intimation from TCIL to the said effect. I/We do hereby indemnify and keep indemnified TCIL from all claims, demands, liabilities, expenses and losses arising due to any and/or all reversal, debit, nullity, recovery of monies from TCIL’s Bank account .due to any technical snag, system error, internet issues or for any reason whatsoever, without any objection, demur or protest.
• Please allow us 48 working hours to deliver the transaction. The deliveries will not be possible on Sundays and Bank holidays.
• In case of any dispute, decision of Argo Tours and Transport (opc) Private Limited will be final and binding.
• No cancellations allowed for this product. In case of cancellations, amount will be refunded after deduction of debit charges.
• Any Direct Cash Deposits in "Argo Tours and Transport (opc) Private Limited . Bank Account" is NOT permitted and shall be forfeited
