Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive - Cochin (Kochi)

  As you reach the Cochin International Airport, Moksh Holiday's representative will greet you in traditional Indian style. He will drive you to the hotel booked for you in advance. On arrival at the hotel you will be again welcomed by the hotel staff. Have refreshment at the hotel. Then a typical south Indian lunch will be offered to you by our representative. You can have your lunch at the hotel restaurant also. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a coastal city on the south-west coast of India known as Queen of Arabian Sea. After lunch you will explore the colonial buildings like Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing nets. You can visit also the Jew Town located at Mattancherry to have a view of the first Jew town in India. Evening proceed to Marine drive, the most romantic hang-out of Kochi city. Enjoy the time overlooking the evening beauty of Arabian Sea. Walk past the road overlooking the happenings of chic life.

• Day 2 : Cochin - Kumarakom

  Leave the hotel and start your next drive to Kumarakom, a romantic backwater destination in Kerala. Moksh Holiday'srepresentative will accommodate you at a backwater resort. You will be thrilled reaching Kumarakom, the scenic destination bequeathed with myriad treasures of nature--backwater canals, plamfringed land, various flora and fauna, etc. You will happy to know that the booker prize winner Arundhathi Roy's The God of Small Thing is set in a village of Kumarakom.

• Day 3 : Kumarakom - Alleppey Houseboat ride

  You will enjoy a full day tour at Kumarakom. Early morning set out your birding tour to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is home to various rare species of birds. If you visit in winter you are lucky to spot the winter migratory birds frolicking on the water bodies of Kumarakom. You may have a sight of the rare birds like Snake bird, Crow Pheasant, Tree pie, etc. The native kingfishers can thrill you.
  After lunch you will board a traditional houseboat to go on a cruise along the lake. Today you feel the true essence of a Kerala backwater ride. Sailing on the houseboat you will move towards Alleppey. On the way ride enjoy the sceneries of the villages, plantations, vast natural greeneries, etc.
  Spend the night onboard the houseboat. You will be mesmerized to experience a night on a houseboat. All provide a tune of a lullaby to your lull sleep.

• Day 4 : Alleppey (Alapuzzha) (150 Km)

  Morning your houseboat will start cruise to Alleppey. On reaching your destination you will get off. Our representative will take you to a hotel. Have your lunch at the hotel restaurant. You can shop at the Alapuzzha markets as it is known for coir products. Visit the local bazaars of Kanyamkulam and Mullakkal. You can pick up gold and silver jewelries at Mullakkal. Then late afternoon you will head towards Alapuzzha beach. Enjoy the sunset view here. Moksh Holiday's representative will offer you a dinner at an Alleppey restaurant. Spend the night at the hotel.
• Day 5 : Alleppey - Cochin - Departure

  Wake up lazily and have your breakfast. Moksh Holiday's representative will timely transfer you to the Cochin Airport. Say good bye to him.
