Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Cochin

  Early morning arrive at Cochin International Airport. On arrival, meeting, assistance at airport by our representative and transfer to hotel. Where our executive will explain the travel plan in detail and hand over the essential documents (Tour programme, hotel’s vouchers, feedback report etc.) to you. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.
  
  Optional: One can enjoy Ayurvedic Massage or can visit Cochin synagogue (15th century building) and meet this unique Jewish community - the only Indian Jews remaining.

• Day 2 : Cochin

  After breakfast at hotel visit Mattancherry Palace. The Dutch Palace exhibits beautiful mural paintings that depict the scenes from Ramayana. The palace was built by the Portuguese and gifted to the Raja of Cochin, Vira Keralavarma. FortKochi is inhabited by Anglo-Indian community. The whole of the region presents a different aura and ambience. The culture is quite unique and represents the Eurasian culture. St Francis Church: This church was built by the Portuguese in the year 1503 A.D. It is said that Portuguese explorer Vasco-da-Gama was originally buried here and his remains were later brought to Lisbon. Santa CruzBasilica: Built by the Portuguese around 500 years back, the Santa Cruz Basilica is known for its Gothic exterior with soaring spires. Also visit Chinese fishing net and tour of the Jew town. Evening visit to watch traditional Kerala Kathakali dances.

• Day 3 : Cochin

  Morning Prayer in the synagogue and program in Chabad. In the afternoon one can walk around fort cochin. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Cochin - Periyar National Park (191 kms / 4.5hrs)

  After breakfast at hotel drive to Thekkady (Periyar National Park). The Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world. It spreads over 350 sq km. The Periyar National Park is synonymous with elephants and one cannot be thought of without the other. Upon arrival, check in at hotel.
  After wash and change at hotel one can visit Kadathanadan Kalari Centre (optional) - local martial arts show is highly recommended(optional). Evening options include Ayurvedic massage and night trekking (optional) Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.

  • Themes : Trekking

• Day 5 : Periyar National Park (153kms / 3.5hrs)

  After breakfast at hotel enjoy boat safari at Lake Periyar to explore the sanctuary. Later one can enjoy Elephant ride, nature walk and Bamboo rafting – dawn to dusk trekking and rafting in Periyar Tiger reserve. Rest of the day free for leisure activites.

• Day 6 : Periyar National Park - Kumarakom (185kms / 4hrs)

  After breakfast at hotel drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a confluence of beautiful small islands and is characterized by marvelous backwaters, vast paddy fields, mangrove forests, coconut groves etc. On arrival, check in at hotel.
  After wash and change at hotel visit some famous places, Spice plantation and Lake. In the evening one can enjoy sunset cruise on Vembanad Lake (Optional).
  Overnight at hotel.

• Day 7 : Kumarakom - Alleppey (38 kms / 1hrs)

  After breakfast at hotel drive to Alleppey. On arrival visit some local markets. In time board on houseboatto enjoy cruise in backwaters. This cruise is very exciting and sensational to watch the real traditional Kerlan life who lives on the banks of backwaters. Enjoy lunch, Dinner at Houseboat.
  Overnight at House boat.

  • Themes : House Boat

• Day 8 : Alleppey - Kovalam (157kms / 3.5hrs

  Morning after breakfast around 0900 hrs disembark from house boat and drive to Kovalam. On arrival, check in at beach resort. Rest of the day free to relax at hotel / Beach.
  Overnight at Resort.

• Day 9 : Kovalam - Trivandrum (13 kms / 30min)

  Late night around 0130 hrs transfer to Trivandrum airport to board your home bound flight.
