Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Mumbai

Arrive at Mumbai International airport. On arrival, our representative will escort you to the pre-booked hotel in Mumbai. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai

After breakfast city tour of Mumbai which covers Elephanta Caves. Enjoy one hour boat ride across Mumbai Harbor brings you to the lush green Elephanta Island. Visit some of the huge and intricately carved Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th century. Afternoon visit Mumbai city, your tour begins as you are shown the famous, historical places in Mumbai such as the inside of the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, the Gateway of India, Tower of Silence, Hanging Park, Marine Drive, the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry' and money bhawan a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi, and the bustling Crawford Market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Mumbai – Cochin: By Morning Flight, Cochin – Periyar: By Road 150 kms. 4 hrs. Approx.

Morning after breakfast drive to the Airport for flight for Cochin. Meeting on arrival at Cochin Airport and drive to Periyar, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Periyar, spread across an area of 300 square miles, Periyar National Park is covered by lush evergreen and deciduous forests serving as home to various animals such as deer, elephants, sambar, Nilgiri Langurs, etc. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4 : Periyar – Kumarakom: By Road 115 kms. 3.5 hrs.

After early breakfast at Hotel, drive to Periyar lake for boat cruise, famous Periyar Tucked in the heart of the jungle wildlife sanctuary to see wildlife. Periyar is an artificial lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is the heart of the Wildlife Sanctuary wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black buck and even Tigers come to shores of the lake for a drink. Later drive to Kumarakom, through the winding Ghats lined with prosperous tea plantations & then arrive the fascinating countryside of low-lying palms and paddy fields to Kumarakom. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Relax at the waterfront, with the occasional native row boat gliding silently by, and the air so calm, you can reach out and touch the sky with your fingertips. The sandy shores and the serene coastal lines make the place a perfect spot for a leisure walk. You could unwind and observe the beauty of the place that brings calm to your mind or go all out to enjoy the various sporting activities available here Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Kumarakom - Houseboat

Leisurly breakfast at Hotel in Kumarakom, later take a cruise on the backwaters in traditional country canoes called vanjis to see the agricultural activities of the local people living on the back waters. Also visit the beautiful bird sanctuary of Kumarakom. In the afternoon board the traditional rice boats of Kerala and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes relaxing in the tranquility of Kerala's beautiful scenery. Experience the way of life and activity of the local people, meals will be served with freshly bought produce from the local markets and cooked on board. Overnight on board.
Day 6 : Houseboat - Marari Beach

Breakfast on board, sail to Alleppey & disembark at Puthenangady Jetty. On arrival proceed directly to Mararikulam. For millennia, the fisherfolk of Mararikulam have lived in accord with the land and the ocean. It is this harmonious way of life that served as inspiration for Marari Beach. From the palm thatch roofs to our rigorous eco-practices, to even the little taps outside your hut, you'll find constant echoes of Malabar's coastal culture. Day 9 : Marari - Cochin

Cochin, the oldest European settlement in India. Frilled with backwaters and rich with old world charm, this city has lured many a great voyager to its shores. Arrive Cochin & check into hotel Tour of Cochin or "Kochi"- the palm green, commercial capital of Kerala is known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea". From time immemorial, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, British & Portuguese seafarers followed the sea route to Kochi & left their impression on the town. Modern Kochi is thus a splendid mosaic of these myriad influences. Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St. Francis, the Bolghatty Palace & the famous Chinese fishing nets. Afternoon, Harbour cruise - Cochin has one of the finest natural harbours. Evening witness the Kathakali dance performance + make up demonstration - Kathakali is a unique dance which has a 2000 year old history with more than 100 different 'mudras' or gesture depicting deities, demons, heroes, heroines and kings - each based on episodes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, the two epic Indian myths. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Cochin - Mumbai

Morning transfer from hotel to the airport for flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival - met & transferred to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Abroad - Mumbai

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
