Kerala Backwaters Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin (Port city)

  On arrival meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Then a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace and Antique shops Evening to Cherai beach. Overnight at Cochin.

• Day 2 : Cochin - Kumarakam/ Alleppey

  (Backwaters). Morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakam/ Alleppey. By noon check in at the hotel . Afternoon do a couple of hours motor boat cruise (optional- cost not included) through the the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kumarakam/ Alleppey.

• Day 3 : Kumarakam/ Alleppey- Kovalam

  (International beach) After breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam- the internationally renowned beach destination. Spend the rest of the day in the sandy beaches of Kovalam flanked by coconut groves on one side and Arabian sea on the other. Overnight at the beach side hotel.

• Day 4 : Kovalam

  Morning after breakfast proceed for a city tour of Trivandrum covering Napier Museum and Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Afternoon at leisure in Kovalam. Overnight at Kovalam.

• Day 5 : Kovalam - Trivandrum

  (Capital City) Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum airport / railway station for onward journey
