Kerala Beach and Kerala Backwater Tour' is wonderful tour to enjoy the beach beauty and backwaters of Kerala. The tour also includes a night on the houseboat. The tour starts from Cochin and takes you to Kumarakom, Allepey and Kovalam. The tour offers enough time to enjoy the beach activities in Kovalam.
Kochi or Cochin is one of the most picturesque places in Kerala and it is termed as ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’. It has grand seascape and all weather harbour. Chinese and Arab traders are believed to have been the first traders to this port. The Portuguese, Dutch and British were come later. Kochi was able to offer in abundance the best of spices to the world, a reputation that continues to this day. Sir Robert Bristow, an experienced harbor engineer was come to Kochi in 1920 and modernized the Kochi harbour.
Bolgatty Island: It is 2 Km from the High Court Junction via Goshree Bridge. Ferry services are available from the High Court Jetty. The Bolgatty Palace was built by an anonymous Dutch trader in 1744. It was the British Residency from 1909 to 1947.
Vypeen Island: It is an isolated island between the sea and tha backwaters, this was originally home to a small indigenous fishing community since 1341 until the advent of the Portuguese. It was previously only accessible by ferry, the Goshree bridge has made the picturesque island just a short drive from the city. Its attractions include the renowned Church of Our Lady of Good Hope, a lighthouse at Ochanthuruth & the Cherai Beach. Pallipuram fort was built by Portuguese in 1503. Ferries are available from Fort Kochi & Ernakulam.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin or Kochi

• Day 2 : Cochin

  After breakfast proceed on a sightseeing tour with guide. You explore the fascinating Portuguese town, where you visit the Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue and Spice markets. Later, Indian Holiday Getway would organize a Kathakali Dance performance for you. Before the performance you will taken to the green room where you can see the dancers dressing up for the performance. The dressing up for the Kathakali is the most exciting and important part of the dance. You would see the dancers applying natural colors to their face, hands and feet.   In the morning proceed to Kumarakom by road. Kumarakom is the gateway to the backwaters of Kerala.   After breakfast, board the houseboat to start the backwater cruise. A backwater cruise is a wonderful experience to absorb the beauty of Kerala villages.
