Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : COCHIN

  Arrival at Cochin International Airport pick up and transfer to the Hotel. Rest day free at relax. Evening watch traditional Kathakali Dance show. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 2 : COCHIN

  Cochin is reputed to be the oldest European settlement in India. Your leisurely tour includes the Dutch Palace, the jew town, St. Francis church, as well as a stroll around the historic Fort Cochin harbor area and a stop to view the immense Chinese Fishing nets. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 3 : COCHIN-MUNNAR

  After breakfast drive to Munnar. It is a beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats at about 1600 meters above sea level. There are lakes, reservoirs, forests, and several tea estates. Arrival and check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit tea factory and overnight at Hotel.

• Day 4 : MUNNAR

  Half day sightseeing around Munnar. Visit tea plantations and Eravikulam National Park. Afternoon back to the Hotel and rest day free at relax.
• Day 5 : MUNNAR-PERIYAR

  After breakfast drive to the wildlife reserve of Lake Periyar through some of India’s most stunning scenery. Here rolling hillsides are covered with tea, spice and rubber plantations, occassionaly interrupted by the rushing of a stream or cascading of a waterfall. Arrive and check in at hotel. Evening visit spice plantations and spice market. Overnight at Hotel.
• Day 6 : PERIYAR

  After breakfast cruise on Lake Periyar within the National Park, a renowned ‘Project Tiger’ reserve and spot , perhaps, Indian elephants, bison, sambar deer and wonderfull exotic birds. Afternoon free at relax. Overnight at Hotel.
• Day 7 : PERIYAR-KUMARAKOM

  After breakfast an interesting drive through tea and rubber plantations. Arrive and check in at Backwater resort faced on Vembanadu Lake. Enroute can enjoy a Kerala lunch in a plantation house. Overnight at backwater resort.
• Day 8 : HOUSEBOAT/HOTEL

  Morning free at relax and noon check in to the Kerala Houseboat, known as a Kettuvallam, each thatch-roofed boat has been converted from an original cargo boat, complete with one or two bed rooms, en suite basin and we, a separate kitchen and sit-out area. A three strong crew cater for all your meals and peacefully glide your boat along the labyrinthine network of lakes and canals that dissect the lush paddy fields, coconut groves and the occasional rustic dwellings that constitute the centuries old way of life on the Kerala backwaters. Overnight at Houseboat.
• Day 9 : ALLEPPEY-CHERAI/ MARARI

  Sail slowly to the coastal town of Alleppey on the Arabian sea, as known as Venice of the east for the numerous canals that meander through the town. Check out and drive to Cherai beach. Arrive and check in at Beach Resort. Rest day free at beach.
• Day 10 : Departure

  Departure. Transfer to Cochin International Airport
