Additional Information Munnar Rajamali national park - Entry Fee @ Rs 50 per person. Open all days from 0900hrs to 1600hrs. Closed from 01 Mar to 30 Apr every year. Tea Museum - Entry fee Rs 75pp. Open all days from 1000hrs to 1600hrs except Monday Jeep Safari to Kudagumali View Point (cost approx Rs 1500 per person by Jeep) Mettupetty dam Boating - Rs 350 upto 5 adults. Thekkady/Periyar Bamboo rafting (6am to 6pm) and Trekking in forest with lunch. Armed Escort available. @ Rs 1500 per person. Full day program. Morning and evening trekking - guide and armed guard available Boating in Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary - Cost Rs 200 per person (timing 7am, 10am, 12pm, 2 pm and 4pm), Plantation tour - Rs 100 entry fee per person. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin-Munnar

  Arrival at Cochin and transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India's highest peak (Anamudi-2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & Tea Plantations. On arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise. Overnight stay at Munnar.
• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Metupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundalay Dam,Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Afternoon visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hilarious) - the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum. Shopping & overnight stay at Munnar
• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady

  Morning have breakfast at resort later check out resort and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady in India’s largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination for any tourist visiting India. The 120 years old 'Surki' dam built across Peryiar, Poorna in Vedic parlance, is a major tourist attraction. This sanctuary is spread over an area of 777 Sq. Kms, surrounded by an artificial lake over an area of 25 Sq.Kms. The Country's sole Tiger reserve, Thekkady, with its bountiful treasures of tropical flora and fauna is the ultimate reservoir of many an endangered species and a rich tribal culture. Thekkady is a pleasant heaven on earth for those who love nature in its wild manifestations. In the evening, you can take Elephant ride at Periyar wild life or indulge in boating at Periyar Lake or attend cultural show with traditional Kathakali dance performances. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

• Day 4 : Thekkady – Alleppey (houseboat)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to houseboat. Around 1200 hrs, check in at the Houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater. Just relax at the deluxe houseboat It will be a unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day. The house boat is fully furnished with bedrooms and a kitchen. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

  After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and drive to Cochin airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
