Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Cochin. Proceed to Munnar. (Tea Plantations )

  Proceed to Munnar (130 km/ 4 hrs approx from Cochin). 
  Overnight at Munnar.
• Day 2 : Munnar 

  Visit to Tea Gardens and Tea Museum / Processing Unit (please ask for assistance at your Resort reception).Visit Top Station, Mattupetty Dam, Kundale. 
  Top Station is the highest point on the Munnar-Kodaikanal road. It offers you a magnificent view of the distant valley of Kerala and Tamilnadu. 
  The Mattupetty lake has boating facilities. Kundale too is famous for its lovely lakes and thickly packed forests around it.
  Overnight at  Munnar.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 3 : Munnar - Periyar. Enroute visit the spice Plantations.

  Enroute to Periyar is the guided visit to Spice Plantations. Kumily, closest village to Periyar, has a good market for shopping of spices.
  Overnight stay at Periyar. 
• Day 4 : Morning boat safari at Periyar Lake. Proceed to the Backwaters.

  Visit Periyar National Park (100 km), known for its dense evergreen forest and rich wildlife. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. 
  The greatest attractions of Periyar, however, are the herds of wild Elephants that come to the Lake to drink water. You can also see other species like Indian Gaur, Wild Boars, Spotted Deer, Sambar and many aquatic birds. 
  Overnight at Backwaters in a homestay Kumarakom.
• Day 5 : Backwaters

  Morning visit to the Marari Beach and Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
  World famous backwaters of Kerala can be best experienced from the luxury houseboat stay. Houseboats are made of eco-friendly material and they are as big as 70 feet in length. Each houseboat has fully furnished rooms with sun-deck and private balcony. The crew of two oarsmen and a chef, who specializes in traditional Kerala cuisine, make your stay truly memorable one.Overnight at Houseboat Alleppey.
• Day 6 : Backwaters to Trivandrum

  Post breakfast proceed to Trivandrum.Overnight at Trivandrum.
• Day 7 : Trivandrum to Kovalam Approx 18kms

  Post breakfast proceed to the Kovalam beach .In 1930s the Travancore kingdom discovered the potentiality of the Kovalam beach by the European Guests.In early seventies the Kovalam was shot in lime light when the Hippies arrived on their way to Ceylon.Overnight at Kovalam.

• Day 8 : Kovalam to Kanyakumari (Enroute visit Suchindrum Temple.)

  Day trip to Kanyakumari. It is the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula and the meeting point of three Seas, namely Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean.Evening at leisure . Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial,Kanyakumari beach
  Enjoy the beautiful Sunset.Overnight at Trivandrum.

  • Hotspots Kanyakumari Beach
• Day 9 : Trivandrum

  Post breakfast proceed to the Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple,Aazhimala Siva Temple.Rest of the day free for shopping .overnight at Trivandrum.
• Day 10 : Departure

  Post breakfast proceed to airport for your flight to your home destination.
