Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Calicut

  On arrival at the Calicut airport, you will be met by representative, who will escort and transfer you to the hotel. Calicut is the place where Vasco Da Gama, the Portuguese explorer landed in 1498. Overnight in the hotel at Calicut.
• Day 2 : Calicut

  In the morning after breakfast proceed to visit Beypore, the biggest wood market and traditional wooden ship making industry in Asia. The craftsmen have been making these Marakalam's in Beypore since the 18th Century. Overnight in the hotel at Calicut.
• Day 3 : Calicut-Mahe

  After breakfast drive to Mahe, which is located on the shores of Arabian Sea. Mahe is known as the traditional and cultural city of Kerala. Upon arrival check into a private cottage, which is maintained by the Indian Holyday Getway. In the afternoon proceed to visit the fort and mosque. Overnight in the cottage at Mahe.
• Day 4 : Mahe

  After breakfast, Indian Holiday Getway guide will take you to the Kerala Traditional Dance center to witness 'Thayum' and 'Kalari Pati', the dance and martial art form of Kerala respectively. Overnight in the cottage at Mahe.
• Day 5 : Mahe-Wyannad

  In the morning after breakfast drive to Wyannad, which is famous for the lush green rainforests. Upon arrival check into an eco-friendly resort, which would be arranged for you by Indian Holiday Getway. The resort would provide you a wonderful opportunity for bird watching, trekking and elephant ride at the nearby Muthanga Sanctuary. Overnight in the hotel at Wyannad.

• Day 6 : Wayannad

  The day is marked to visit the nearby tribal village and museum. Indian Holiday Getway would arrange the visit to the tribal village and museum. After lunch proceed to take a four-kilometer trek to an awe-inspiring ancient cave, providing an insight to the rich Indian civilization. Overnight in the hotel at Wayannad.
• Day 7 : Wayannad- Cheruthuruthy

  After breakfast drive to Cheruthuruthy, which is famous for the school of traditional art and dance - Natya Kala Mandalam. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In the afternoon guide will accompany you to the Natya Kala Mandalam. Here among other things you will come across local potters and weavers that are world famous for their dexterity. Overnight in the hotel at Cheruthuruthy.
• Day 8 : Cheruthuruthy - Cochin

  After breakfast, drive to Cochin and check into the hotel. In the afternoon explore the fascinating Portuguese town with Indian Holiday Getway guide, where you visit the Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue and Spice markets. Later, Indian Holiday Getway would organize a Kathakali Dance performance for you. Before the performance you will be taken to the green room where you can see the dancers dressing up for the performance. The dressing up for the Kathakali is the most exciting and important part of the dance. You would see the dancers applying natural colors to their face, hands and feet. Indian Holiday Getway guide would brief you about the nitty-gritty of the traditional dance. Overnight in the hotel at Cochin.

• Day 9 : Cochin

  After breakfast transfer to the Cochin airport to catch a flight back home. Tour ends.
