    Ayodhya , known for its historical and religious significance. It is often associated with the Hindu epic, Ramayana, as the birthplace of Lord Rama. The city gained prominence due to the Ayodhya dispute, which revolved around the Babri Masjid and Ram Janmabhoomi (birthplace of Lord Rama) site. The dispute was resolved in 2019 by a Supreme Court verdict, allowing for the construction of a Hindu temple at the site.
