The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse. Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and catamaran cruising are some of them. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes. Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the night. The beach complex includes a string of budget cottages, Ayurvedic health resorts, and convention facilities, shopping zones, swimming pools, Yoga and Ayurvedic massage centres. Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, is just 16 km away from Kovalam and getting there is no hassle. But if you are on holiday it is better to stay in Kovalam and visit the city. The closest major cities are Nagercoil, the administrative headquarters of Kanyakumari district. This is a popular tourist place in India. The rich history and the cultural heritage of Kanyakumari is one of mixed culture and profound heritage. The city of Kanyakumari have been around for thousands of years as it has been the city of culture, history, arts, economy and the hub of civilization for centuries. The city of Kanyakumari with its southern coast to the vast and the powerful Indian Ocean impressed the British so much, that they decided to rename it to Cape Comorin to accentuate its beauty. Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin) represents all the beautiful things that India has to offer the world. Many temples, churches, religious pillars and statues are situated here. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar

  • Our friendly representative welcomes you at Cochin Airport or Railway Station and transfer to the munnar hotel, which is called as Nature Lovers Paradise and is at 1800mts above the sea level. On the way to Munnar visit Cheyyappara waterfalls. Check into hotel / resort. Overnight at Munnar.

  • Meals & Drinks : Dinner

• Day 2 : Munnar Local Sightseeing

  • After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Visit Eravikulam National Park in the morning. In the afternoon visit Mattupetty Dam/Kundala dam for boating, Eco point, tata tea museum. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Dinner

• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady

  • After breakfast check out from the hotel / resort and proceed to Thekkady. Check into hotel / resort. Sightseeing of Thekkady: Go for Plantation Tour, Evening boat ride to National Park. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at Thekkady.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Dinner

• Day 4 : Thekkady - Kumarkom

  • After breakfast, Checkout from the hotel and proceed to Kumarkom which has an immense natural beauty, also known as the Venice of the East. It is famous for the backwaters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir products. Check into your Hotel and enjoy the cruise through the backwaters of Kumarkom. Overnight stays at the hotel
