Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar

  Arrive at Cochin airport and transfer to Munnar. Munnar, one of the most popular hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 m above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Arrive Munnar and check into hotel. In the evening you can visit tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low popular too far from pollution, most of the covered by Tata tea. Overnight stays at hotel.

• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast go for sightseeing Munnar which includes the Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Muttupetty dam, Indo Swiss project; you can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight stays at hotel.

• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady

  After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady which is also known as Periyar. On reaching thekkady check into the hotel and get refreshed. Have a sightseeing tour in and around thekkady. In the evening visit the spice plantation and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves.. Arrive and check in to hotel. Afternoon enjoys a boating at manmade lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Evening free for shopping Tea, Coffee, Spices, and Antiques etc….Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Thekkady– Alleppey

  After having breakfast, get ready to explore Alleppey. Alleppey in Kerala is a beautiful backwater destination. Located on the picturesque Vembanad Lake Alleppey has to be seen to be believed. Alleppey consists of a cluster of islands which have been converted into a number of tourist resorts. The blue backwaters and the surface of Vembanad Lake reflect the azure sky. The amazing shades of green of the vegetation that include mangroves, coconut palms, and paddy fields cover the verdant countryside. Check in to the House Boat then prepare your mind and body to be transported into the tranquil world of natural beauty and wonderful hospitality. All the delicious food prepared and served on board from the tiny well equipped kitchen, and these foods highly reflect the local cuisine. Enjoy the back water cruise till evening. Then houseboat halts in the lake for an overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Allepey - Poovar

  After Breakfast Proceed to Poovar .Poovar is a popular tourist town in the Trivandrum district of Kerala state, South India. This village is almost at the southern tip of Trivandrum while the next village, Pozhiyoor, marks the end of Kerala On arrival Check in to the Hotel and Overnight Stay at hotel.

• Day 6 : Poovar – Trivandrum - Poovar

  After Breakfast proceed to Trivandrum Sightseeing VisitSreePadmanabaswamy temple for darshan and Offerings and later Visit SreeChitra Art galley , Sangumukam beach , Vizinjam Port , Trivandrum Zoo etc as time permits and Evening Back To Poovar . Hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Poovar - Kanyakumari

  After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is a place at the confluence of the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. Witness the setting sun and the rising moon simultaneously over three oceans. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built on a huge rock off the shore off Kanyakumari, marks the spot where Swami Vivekananda. Have darshan at Suchindram Temple and Kanya Devi Temple. Overnight stays at hotel.

• Day 8 : Kanyakumari - Rameswaram

  After breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram is an island situated on the tip of the Indian peninsula. The city is also an important south India pilgrimage centre of the Indians. It is the place from where Lord Rama had built a bridge across the sea to rescue his consort Sita. This is the place where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to cleanse away the sin of Ravana. Both the Vaishnavites and Shaivites visit this pilgrimage city. Back to the hotel for overnight stay

• Day 9 : Rameshwaram - Madurai

  After Breakfast proceed to Madurai On arrival check into the hotel, Madurai is significant with its cultural and historical background, the city has tourist attractions in plenty, the most prominent among them being The Meenakshi Temple. Reserve your evenings to witness the vibrant and colorful temple ceremonies. One of the most important places of Hindu pilgrimage, the Meenakshi-Sundareswarar temple is located at the heart of the city and is the hub of the religious and cultural life of the city. Built by KulasekaraPandya in the pre-Christian era, the temple was in ruins before it was rebuilt by TirumalaiNayak. Spread over six hectares, the temple is an outstanding example of Vijayanagar temple architecture. The temple has four entrances to it and its gopurams (large gateways) and mandapams (multi-pillared halls) are covered from top to bottom in a profusion of multi-coloured images of gods, goddesses, animals and mythical figures. The southern gopuram, which is about 48.4-metre-high is the most spectacular of all gopurams, and has over 1,500 sculptures. We can even climb the gopuram to get a panoramic view of the city.overnight stay at the hotel.
