Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Cochin

Arrive Cochin, Meet & Assist by Our Representative and Transfer to Hotel ,After freshen up Proceed for sightseeing Of Cochin. Visiting, The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum. Evening Free. overnight at Cochin.

Day 2 : Cochin - Alleppey (65 Km-1.5Hrs Drive Approx)

Morning after breakfast Check out from Hotel & proceed to Alleppey & check into houseboat around afternoon (Between 1230-1300 Hrs. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters .See the Local village life along the banks .All three meals will be served on Board .Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Enjoy the Evening sunset later the houseboat is anchored in a safer place. Overnight stay in the House Boat.

Day 3 : Alleppey - Munnar (190Km - 4.5 Hrs Drive Approx)

Morning after breakfast Proceed to Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty of waterfalls, high mountains Covered with the low flying clouds. Arrive & Check into Hotel . Evening free.Overnight stay at hotel in MUNNAR.
Day 4 : Munnar

Morning after breakfast proceed for Sightseeing of Munnar ,situated near the Anaimudi Peak, the highest peak in the Western Ghats. Proceed to Mattupetty Lake and dam, this is a very beautiful picnic spot. You could enjoy boating in the lake and dam and View Mountains and landscapes ,Visit Eco point,Kundala dam, Also visit Eravikulam National Park, 15Kms from Munnar. Visit The Tea museum & Tea Factory, the local Markets .Night stay in Munnar.
Day 5 : Munnar - Madurai

After breakfast proceed to Madurai and transfer to hotel. The ancient city of Madurai, some 2600 years old is laid out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the centre. Afternoon city tour visiting - Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great tank and Gandhi museum. Night stay in Madurai.

Day 6 : Madurai - Rameshwaram (155Km 3 Hrs Drive Approx- One Way)

Early morning after breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram - the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. Legend has it that Lord Rama sent Hanuman to Mount Kailash to bring a Lingam for worship when he set foot after defeating Ravana. As Hanuman did not return when the auspicious hour was approaching, Sita made a sand Lingam so that worship could be performed in time, which is where the present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent corridors and the massive sculptured pillars lining them. Overnight at Rameshwaram.
Day 7 : Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari (350Km -6 Hrs Drive Approx)

After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari - the land's end of India where the water of the Arabian Sea , the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet. An important pilgrim centre of India, it is famous for the Amman Temples - a symbol of unity and sanctity - dedicated to the virgin Goddess , Kanya Kumari. To its South - East lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a blend of all the architectural styles of India. Evening enjoy the beautiful sun set .Overnight at Kanyakumari.
Day 8 : Kanyakumari - Kovalam via Poover Island (100Km -2.5 Hrs Drive Approx)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to kovalam. On the way can Cover Poovar Sightseeing. Poovar was a trading post during the reign of King Solomon where ships that carried timber, sandal wood and ivory landed. There are many ancient monuments and religious places in Poovar even today. The Central Mosque, which is thought to have built by Malik ibn Dinar around 1400 years ago is a popular tourist attraction in Poovar. Later proceed for a local sightseeingin Kovalam is a famous beach destination in South India. The Kovalam beach has wonderful Sapphire blue waters and palm trees swaying to the salty breeze. Day 9 : Kovalam - Trivandrum departure

THE ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK WILL BE CLOSED TO VISITORS FOR TWO MONTHS FROM 2ND FEBRUARY TO 1ST APRIL 2015 DURING THE CALVING SEASON OF NILGIRI TAHR. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CLOSURE IS TO FACILITATE SAFE CALVING AND TO MINIMISE DISTURBANCES TO THE NEW BORN LAMBS OF NILGIRI TAHR. SOLICITING SINCERE CO-OPERATION FROM ALL.

Holidays:-During local or national holidays or special events, peek seasons, on Sundays, and during religious occasions, certain facilities such as museums, churches, restaurants, sightseeing tours, hotels, and shopping may be limited or not available. Note:

The cruise commences at 1230 hrs with lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the fisherman lay their nets in the backwaters. Other boats are not allowed to ply in the backwaters after dusk. On the following day the cruise commences again after breakfast and the guest will be dropped at Alleppey by 0900Hrs. Overnight stay at the House Boat.**Since houseboats are stationed in the bank of the backwater during the night the problem of mosquito and water borne insects do come up hence you are kindly requested to carry mosquito and insect repellent along with you. The choice of food in the houseboat is very limited and mostly basic south Indian meal is served. The quality of the houseboat cannot be compared with the quality of the rooms in the hotel where the guest is staying. The rooms are basic and small. The main concept of the houseboat is to explore the backwater beauty of the region at the closet to the nature.

Service tax for the year 2016-17 from 01ST April 2016 to 31st May 2016 as follows; 1, Hotel booking Service Tax @ 1.45% 2,Packages-Service Tax @ 4.35% 3, Transportation Service Tax @ 6.00% The above service tax should be paid extra with the quoted amount.

Reservation Policy:

1.-Confirmation of Hotel Rooms / House boat is subject to the availability.

2.-Confirmation of the Packages is subject to receipt of 100% payment i.e..., 50 % of the payment as advance & balance on or before arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

-

1.-Cancellation within 30 Days prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation: No retention charge.

2.-Cancellation within 15 Days prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation :50 % retention

3.-Cancellation within 10 Days prior to the arrival date of the tour packages / Hotel Booking / Transportation or Non Utilization of the same : 100 % Retention.

4.-There will be no retention charges for Hotel Bookings/Transportation if cancellation is done within 40 days prior to arrival of guests. After that 100% retention . This Cancellation Policy will be applicable only during Diwali and Christmas Periods for the groups.

Terms & Conditions

1.-The above itinerary is suggested Tour Plan. The Company is responsible for only those services which are charged from the guest. All other services which are not paid by the guest to the Company are Suggested services and Company is nowhere bound to provide that service or pay the cost for the same.

2.-Check in and Checkout Timing of the Hotel will be according to the timing of the respective Hotels.

3.-Company is not responsible for compensating any loss or additional cost incurred by the guest while taking the tour.

4.-Company is not responsible, nor liable for any damage, loss or injury caused to any passenger while taking the tour.

5.-Dollar rates are applicable only to Foreign nationals & Indians possessing foreign passports, while the INR package rates will be applicable to Indian nationals.

6.-All the disputes are subject to Ernakulum Jurisdiction only.

7.-Any Claim related to the Package must be brought to the notice of the Company within a week.

8.-If the Company is unable to provide accommodations at the booked hotels due to natural or unavoidable circumstances that interrupt the expected course of events, the clients will be provided with equivalent or higher category accommodations.
