Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Cochin

  Meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel. In the afternoon proceed for a half day sight seeing tour of Cochin city. Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue. Rest of the time at leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay at Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Cochin - Munnar : By Surface 130 Kms. 3 Hrs.

  Morning sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi beach, Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary, Palliport Fort, Parikshith Thampuram Museum, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Cathedral, Chinese Fishing Net, Bolghatty island, Bolghatty Palace, Willingdon Island, Hill Palace Museum, Museum of Kerala History Edapally, Gundu isl. Overnight stay at Hotel.
  
  Later drive to Munnar, a popular getaway retreat. Surrounded by lush green tea estates, this picturesque hill station boasts of exotic flora and fauna. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Hotspots : Bolghatty Island, Willingdon Island, Fort Kochi Beach, Museum of Kerala History, St. Francis Church, Hill Palace Museum, Bolghatty Palace

• Day 3 : Munnar

  This morning you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of the picturesque, Mattupetty, Devikulam, Marayoor, Eravikulam National Park, Lock Heart Gap, Chithirapuram, Anayirangal, Attukal, Nyayamakad, Echo Point, Rajamala, Kundala, Power House Waterfalls, Malankara Reservoir. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Munnar - Periyar : By Surface 110 Kms. 3 Hrs.

  After Breakfast in the morning drive to Periyar . On arrival check-in at Hotel. Later enjoy tour of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary on boat to view the wildlife. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 5 : Periyar - Cochin : By Surface

  In the morning drive to Cochin, on arrival straight proceed to the Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train to the onwards destination.

  We did the Markha Valley Track in 7 days. Everything was well organized. We had a tourguide who had lots of experience in operating the track (thx to Stenzing!) and food was always well prepared every evening (more than we could ever eat). The costs are on a fair rate for what we got. So - 5 points out of 5! The Tour to Lake Pangong was an adventure by itself with driving the 2nd highest pass in the world. The lixury tents directly at the lake are a must to sleep in! Absolutely fabulous! Thanks a lot to Niru and team. Markus
