Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin

  ArriveCochin. Transfer to hotel, Afternoon Excrusion to the Mattancherry Dutch Palace, a gift from the Portguese to the Raja of Kochi, Evening Enjoy a Performance of Kerala's Kathakali dancers(Optional). Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Cochin - Munnar:(145Kms)

  Morning tour of Kochi including Jewish Synagogue, The Chinese fishing nets and the St. Francis Church. Afternoon drive to Munnar (138 Km / 3 Hrs 30 Min) the hill resort in the western Ghats famous for its plantations. Overnight at hotel.

  Morning free to relax Afternoon Drive(110 Km-4 hrs 30 min) to Thekkady , Located close to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 5 : Thekkady - Kumarakom(125Kms)

  Early Morning enjoy a boat ride on the Periyar Lake famous for its Wild Elephants and bird life. Return to hotel for Breakfast and drive to the picturesque backwaters of Kumarakom (130 Kms-3 hrs) . Rest of the day At Leisure. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : Kumarakom - Houseboat

  Breakfast at the hotel . Later check into the houseboat for an overnight cruise through the backwaters of Kerala. Cruise till 6 in the evening, by then houseboat halts in the Lake of an overnight stay. (Next Day, Cruising starts at 7am). Unwind yourself watching the endless strips of greenery passing by you while the boat moves at the relaxing pace. Overnight at hotel.
