Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin-Arrival

  Arrive Cochin airport at --hrs, met by our representative & transfer to hotel for 1-night stay. Cochin, one of the oldest port cities of India has very rich cultural past and cosmopolitan association. Also known as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’, Cochin is believed to be the finest natural harbour in the world. Layered impressions of Chinese, Arab, Jewish, British, French and Portuguese are contained within its environment

• Day 2 : Cochin-Munnar (158kms-4hrs)

  After the breakfast, leave for the half day tour of the satellite town of Kochi (Cochin) which comprise visits to the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica. See the Chinese fishing nets, which dot the harbour as you drive along the coastline.
  Later drive to Munnar. One of the most popular hill stations in India, Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 Mts above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is essentially a tea town.

• Day 3 : Munnar

  After the breakfast proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

• Day 4 : Munnar-Thekkady(110kms-03hrs)

  After the breakfast proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Here you can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Visit the local spice market for some garden fresh spices and handicrafts. Overnight stay at the Hotel / Resort.

• Day 5 : Thekkady-Alleppy

  After breakfast you will leave for Alleppey one of the most important tourist centers in the state, with a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet "Venice of the east". These large networks of canals provide Alleppey its lifeline.
  On arrival check-in to the houseboat, the Rice barge - converted cargo boat - will collect you from the jetty for a lazy journey through the meandering backwaters as you watch rural life which has not changed for centuries.
  
  In the evening the boat will anchor safely for the night stay.

• Day 6 : Alleppy-Cochi Departure(100kms-2.30hrs)

• In case of non-availability of rooms at the hotels mentioned, we shall provide you alternate hotels of similar category. Base category rooms are allotted for the stay, Any requirement / availability of higher category of room would incur extra cost. At Hotel Check-in time is 14.00 hrs & / Check-out time 12.00 Noon. At Houseboat Check-in time is 12.00 hrs. & Check-out time is 09.00 hrs.


• In A/C in Standard & Deluxe category Houseboat, A/C will be operational from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. In A/C Premium category Houseboat, A/C will be operational as per your requirements. The above rates are valid for the mentioned period only. Xmas and New Year supplement charges would be charged additional on actuals.
