Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin

  Arrival at Cochin Airport, Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Cochin.
• Day 2 : Cochin

  Munnar After breakfast check out from hotel. Cochin sight seeing – Jew Synagogue, Dutch Palace St.Francis Church, Chineese fishing nets, Marine drive then drive to Munnar. Overnight at Munnar.

• Day 3 : Munnar

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar – visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, Echo Point and Shooting Point. Overnight stay in Munnar.
• Day 4 : Munnar -Periyar (Thekkady)

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady (110 Kms. 3hrs.) check into hotel. Afternoon free for sightseeing. Back to hotel and Overnight stay.
  
  Thekkady : (Also Known as Periyar) –An internationally reputed tourist centre situated in the Western Ghats is the only place in India where you get the opportunity to see wild elephants from a short distance. Thekkady, recently named as Periyar Tiger Reserve in the year 1978,is well known for its rich natural resource and beauty. It constitutes the beautiful spice lands on one part and thick evergreen forests on the other part. Periyar Tiger Reserve is one of the world’s most fascinating wild life sanctuaries, noted for its geomorphology, wild life and beautiful land- scapes .The three lakh tourists visited in2002 highlights its importance in world tourism map. Situated in the Idukki district of Kerala forms parts of the high ranges on the Western Ghats. In the north central part is the famous Periyar Lake, a vast reservoir of water created by a dam in the Periyar River. The reserve covers hills and verdant forests extending over an area of 777 sq.km..
• Day 5 : Thekkady- Alleppey

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey . check in to houseboat. The houseboat takes you a fascinating cruise towards the Vembanad Kayal. Overnight stay at the house boat.

• Day 6 : Alleppey- Kovallam

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Kovallam, On arrival at Kovalam, check into hotel. Spend the rest of the day at lesiure. Stay overnight in Kovalam.
• Day 7 : Kovallam

  After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing trip of Trivandrum (Approx: 15 kms / 30 mins one way). Visit places of interest including Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum and Sri Padmanabha Temple. In the afternoon, relax on the beach. Stay overnight in Kovalam. Day 8: Departure After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum airport/railway station for onward travel.
