Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangalore - Munnar (470 Kms/8 Hrs)

  Meet our representative who will proceed to the hill station of Munnar. Set amid dramatic mountain scenery, the craggy peaks, manicured tea estates and crisp mountain air makes this hill station an ideal retreat. Check into you hotel Tea County. Day at leisure, Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.

• Day 2 : Munnar

  This day is full of great sightseeing and activities as you begin you day after breakfast with a drive to the Eravikulam National Park. This national park located almost an hours’ drive from the city centre is home of the Nilgiri Thar, a rare mountain goat found in this region. Return back to the town to witness the procedure of making tea from tea leaves as you visit the Tea Museum. Later drive to the scenic Mattupetty Dam for a fun filled boat ride on the reservoirs’ lake. A few miles from here is Echo Point, a perfect place to wind up the day. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady (110 Kms/3 Hrs)

  The scenic drive from Munnar will take you to Thekkady, the home of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Check into your hotel Aranya Nivas, located in the heart of the wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy lunch and later proceed for boat ride on the Periyar lake. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Thekkady - Alleppey (170 Kms./4 ½ Hours)

  From the wildlife you will be transferred to the backwaters as you drive down to Alleppey from Thekkady. On arrival in Alleppey board your private houseboat and you will start sailing on the canals of the backwater. Enjoy the sights and sound on the village. Overnight and all meals will be on board the houseboat.

• Day 5 : Alleppey - Kumarakom (45 Kms/1 Hr)

  After breakfast on board the houseboat disembark at the Alleppey jetty. You will now proceed from Alleppey to Kumarakom. A quite town located on the bank of the Vembanad Lake is a must see on any travellers list to Kerala. After a short drive from Thekkady, arrive Kumarakom. Check into your resort. Enjoy a lavish lunch in the resort. Relax or enjoy a wide range of activities which are offered by the resort. Evening time enjoy a sunset cruise on the vast expanses of the Vembanad Lake. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 6 : Kumarakom

  Kumarakom is famous for its Bird Sanctuary, which is the haunt of a variety of domestic and migratory bird. Get ready early morning (6.30 am) to visit this small paradise. Return back to the resort for a sumptuous breakfast. The day is at leisure as you explore host of activities offered by the resort. Overnight in the resort.
• Day 7 : Kumarakom - Bangalore (590 Kms./10 Hours)

  Have breakfast and depart for Bangalore. By road for onward connection Tour ends with happy memories.
