Day 1 : Trivandrum - Kanyakumari
After arrival at Trivandrum airport Good Kerala Holidays representative will meet you and you will be transfered to Kanyakumari . You have the option of going on a full day visit to Kanyakumari to see Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Memorial, and Kanyakumari Devi Temple. Return to hotel for the night stay.
Day 2 : Kanyakumari - Kovalam
After breakfast you will be Transfer to kovalam In Trivandrum,you can enjoy not only Kovalam, but Poovar, one of the most beautiful beaches in kerala. Overnight at hotel in kovalam.Your evening is free to enjoy the beautiful Kovalam beaches.
Shankhumugham Beach
Just 8 km from the city, this is a favorite haunt of sunset watchers. The beach is adjacent to the Thiruvananthapuram Airport and Veli Tourist Village. An indoor recreation club, the matsya kanyaka (a gigantic, 35 m long sculpture of a mermaid) and a restaurant shaped like a starfish are some of the attractions here. Cha-cha Nehru Traffic Training Park here provides opportunity for children to learn the tr7affic rules.
Veli
This picnic spot, where the Veli Lake meets the Arabian Sea, offers boating facilities. Pedal boats and paddleboats can be hired to explore the charms of the lagoon in a leisurely manner. For a quick ride over the waters, speedboats are available for hire. Children enjoy climbing over the huge sculptures which dot the landscape.Return to hotel for the night stay.
Day 3 : Kovalam - Varkala
After breakfast, you have the option of going on a full day visit to Varkkala beach,kollam beach and sight seeing.
Varkkala Beach
51 km north of Thiruvananthapuram city and 37 km south of Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram district, south Kerala. Varkala, a calm and quiet hamlet, lies on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram district. It has several places of tourist interests like a beautiful beach, a 2000 year old Vishnu temple and the ashramam- ‘Sivagiri Mutt’ a little distance from the beach.
Kollam Thirumullavaram Beach
6 km north of Kollam town. This secluded beach is a beautiful picnic center and has frequent bus connections to the town. Kollam, located 71kms to the north of Thiruvanathapuram is another coastal district of Kerala. It is one of the oldest ports on the Malabar coast. Once Kollam was the port of international spice trade. Ashtamudi Lake, which covers one third of this place makes it gateway to the magnificent backwaters of Kerala. Night stay at resort.
Day 4 : Varkala - Alleppey
After breakfast you will depart by car for Alleppey. In Alleppey you will stay in a resort where you can relax with some ayurvedic treatments, if desired. Later you will visit a local Village or enjoy a sunset.Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Alappuzha Beach
Alappuzha beach, near Alappuzha town, south Kerala. Referred to as the Venice of the East, Alappuzha has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, it is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old.
Day 5 : Alleppey - Cochin
Next day morning after breakfast proceed to cochin.Cochin the Queen of Arebian Sea has a lot to enrich your trip.You can enjoy sight seeing, Fort kochi beach ,Cherai Beach and the commercial town of Cochin .
Fort Kochi
A leisurely walk through the city is the best way to discover historic Fort Kochi. An obscure fishing village that became the first European township in India, Kochi has an eventful and colourful history. Its reputation as a seafaring commercial town was such that Nicolas Conti, an Italian traveller of the Middle Ages remarked: “If China is where you make your money, then Kochi surely Is the place to spend it”. The town was shaped by the Portuguese, the Dutch and later the British. The result of these cultural influences are seen in the many examples of Indo European architecture that still exist here.
Cherai Beach
This lovely beach bordering Vypeen island is ideal for swimming. Dolphins are occasionally seen here. A typical Kerala village with paddy fields and coconut groves nearby is an added attraction.
Day 6 : Calicut - Cochin
Next day proceed to Kozhikode,spend two days in Calicut to visit the very famous kappad beach,Kozhikode beach and for sight seeing in Calicut. overnight stay in hotel.
Kozhikode Beach
This beach is a favourite haunt of sunset viewers. Adding to its natural beauty is the old world charm retained in the old lighthouse and the two crumbling piers, each more than a hundred years old, that run into the sea. Entertainment facilities such as the Lions Park for children and the marine water aquarium are added attractions.
Day 7 : Calicut
After Breakfast, proceed to visit Kappadu beach16 km from Kozhikode, this is the historic beach where Vasco da Gama landed on the 27th of May 1498, with 170 men in three vessels. A monument on the beach commemorates this historic event. The rock studded beach is locally known as Kappakadavu. An interesting feature of the landscape is the sprawling rock that protrudes into the sea. The temple on the rock is believed to be 800 years old.
Day 8 : Calicut - Kasargod
Next day you will visit the tourist important places and beautiful beaches of Kasaragod, the northernmost district of Kerala .Overnight stay at Hotel.
About a kilometre from Bekal Fort, about 16 km south of Kasaragod on the national highway, Kasaragod district, north Kerala. Kasaragod, the northernmost district of Kerala is renowned as the land of gods, forts, rivers, hills and beautiful beaches. The imposing circular fort at Bekal is one of the largest and best preserved forts in Kerala. The beautiful expanse of the shallow beach near the Bekal fort known as Bekal Fort Beach has been developed as an exotic beach location by the Bekal Resorts Development Corporation (BRDC).
Day 9 : Kasargod - Calicut (Drop)
After breakfast you will leave for where you will catch your flight to another destination.
