Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Kochi

  Welcome to Kochi, the most charming city of Kerala. On arrival at Kochi airport or Ernakulam railway station, starts your tour of ‘Colours of Kerala’. You will be received and taken to your hotel. Later, visit the St. Francis Church, the Mattencherry Palace, the Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets in Fort Cochin area.

• Day 2 : To Munnar (130 Kms / Approx. 4 Hour Drive

  This morning, proceed on a drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is spent in leisure.

• Day 3 : In Munnar

  Today, proceed for a tour to Munnar where you will enjoy visiting sections of old Munnar, which includes the charming old Christ Church with its original fourteen rows of wooden pews and the Tata Tea Museum. You will also visit Mattupetty Lake which is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydro-electricity dam there. The evening is spent in leisure .

• Day 4 : To Thekkady (105 Kms / Approx. 3 1/2 Hour Drive)

  Today, drive to Thekkady (Periyar) the land of spice plantations. On arrival, check into your hotel. Later, walk through the spice market in the Kumily Village.

• Day 5 : To Alleppey (110 Kms / Approx. 4 Hour Drive)

  Early in the morning enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar (boats can be hired directly), to observe wildlife in the Periyar Sanctuary. Later, drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey and board your houseboat.

• Day 6 : To Kumarakom (51 Kms / Approx. 1 1/2 Hour Drive)

  This morning, your houseboat will take you to your resort in Kumarakom. The rest of the day is spent at leisure. Relax yourself in serenity of your beautiful resort.

• Day 7 : To Kovalam (190 Kms / Approx. 5 Hour Drive)

  This morning, you will drive to Kovalam. Enroute enjoy a boat ride at Alleppey. On arrival you will check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is free.

• Day 8 : In Kovalam

  The day is spent in leisure. You can opt for a rejuvenating ayurvedic body massage (on direct payment basis) or simply enjoy the facilities offered by the resort.

• Day 9 : To Trivandrum (16 Kms / Approx. 45 Minute Drive) | Return Home with Happy Memories

  Time to bid farewell to your ‘Colours of Kerala’ tour, as you are taken to Trivandrum airport or Trivandrum railway station for your journey onward.
