Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Cochin

  Board your flight from Mumbai and arrive Cochin. On arrival, you will meet a Ghoomteraho representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Cochin. On reaching, check in to your hotel, unpack and relax. You may explore the local markets on MG road or enjoy some local Keralan cuisine (on your own). Later in the evening, return to your hotel and after a warm dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Cochin-Munnar

  After early breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi. Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and see some Chinese fishing nets. Later in the afternoon, proceed for Munnar. On the way to Munnar, halt at some good restaurant for lunch(on your own) . Check in to your hotel in the evening, unpack and relax. Spend some time in the local markets for shopping and enjoy the evening at leisure. Return to enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Munnar Local

  After breakfast at the hotel, take a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Famous for its tea plantations, visit the beautiful serenity of the tea plantations (remains closed on Mondays) in Munnar. Also visit Eravikulam National Park and explore its rich flora and fauna. Relish the local food at a good restaurant. Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam. Enjoy the echo phenomenon at the famous Echo Point. Return to your hotel and spend evening at leisure. Have a warm, hearty dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Munnar-Thekkady

  After early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and have lunch (on your own). In the afternoon, proceed for a stirring boat cruise through the backwaters near Thekkady. Thekkady is known for its Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. During your cruise, stopover at this fascinating town and observe the wild animals in their natural habitat. Later in the evening, visit the theatre and enjoy the traditional Kathakali Show (in a non-air-conditioned theatre). Indulge in shopping, take a tour around the Spice Plantations or enjoy an elephant ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening. Return to your hotel for a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

  • Hotspots : Kathakali

• Day 5 : Thekkady-Kumarakom

  Drive to Kumarakom and reach there by afternoon. On arrival, check in at the hotel, unpack and relax. Later in the evening, go for an evening boat cruise on the backwaters for an hour. Return to the hotel. You can also opt for a traditional Ayurveda massage today. Relish a warm dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
  
  Day5 Kumarakom-Cochin Airport
  After breakfast check-out and proceed to Cochin airport to catch the return flight to Mumbai. The tour ends with warm memories.
