Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guruvayoor

  On your arrival at Cochin airport/railway station our representative/chauffeur will receive you and drive you to Guruvayur which is 85 kms from Cochin airport. Guruvayur which is also known as the Dwaraka of south India is the most popular pilgrim centre in Kerala. On your arrival in Guruvayur check-in to your hotel. You can go for temple visit and local sightseeing in Guruvayur in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel. After the temple darshan visit the elephant camp in the Punnathur kotta which is just 3 kms from the Guruvayur temple. Currently there are more than 60 elephants in the camp which is the largest elephant sanctuary in India. The Guruvayur trip will be incomplete without visiting this elephant sanctuary. You can also visit Venkitachalapathy temple, Harikanyaka temple and Nava Mukunda temple which is near to the Lord Krishna temple.

• Day 2 : Munnar

  On arrival meet and greet our representative would receive you and proceed to Munnar. Check into the hotel This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar

• Day 3 : Munnar

  Morning have your breakfast at Hotel. Proceed for local sightseeing. Visit Mattupetty Dam – The Mattupetty dam and lake is situated at an altitude of 1700 m. Enjoy the panoramic view of the dam surrounded by wooden hills and tea plantations. Visit Tata Tea Museum – Tata tea holds the the place of world’s second manufacturer and distributor of Tea. Visit Rajamalai wild life sanctuary which is the natural habitat of highly endangered species of mountain goats, called NILGIRI TAHR. Here you can see NILGIRI TAHR grazing along the grasslands, NILAKURINJI plants, NILGIRI MARTEN, MONGOOSE, SMALL CLAWED OTTER etc. Sight seeing of Photopoint, Echopoint Evening back to hotel / resort Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort.

• Day 4 : Munnar - Thekkady (110 km/3.5 hours)

  Check out of the hotel. Drive to Thekkady and reach by afternoon. Check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or take an optional boat cruise in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.Activities: Avail an Ayurvedic session (based on availability/ Optional)* Go for a sunset cruise through the Vembanad lake (based on availability/Optional)*

• Day 5 : Thekkady - Alleppey

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey and check into the houseboat. Overnight at Houseboat. Description: Houseboats are huge, slow moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are the remodeled version of kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry tons of rice and spices. The present day house boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters. The houseboat check in time is 12 noon and the cruise and stay will be for 20 hours. During the cruise you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. The menu in the houseboat is fixed with different fixed menu options for Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians
