Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Cochin – Munnar (130 kms / 04 hrs drive)

  Arrival at Kochi Airport / Railway station in the morning & drive to Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvellous Valara & Cheeyyapara Seasonal waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Arrive Munnar and check in at hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Explore more in Munnar during the second day in Munnar, proceed to visit the Eravikulam National Park "where you get to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr”. Later proceed for a visit of Tea Factory & Museum. Back to the hotel after an exciting day. Overnight stay is arranged at the hotel in Munnar.

  After breakfast proceed for visit of Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point, Shooting Point, Kundala Lake, etc. Back to the hotel after an exciting day. Overnight stay is arranged at the hotel in Munnar.

• Day 4 : Munnar – Thekkady (110 KMS – 03 Hours’ drive)

  After early breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Thekkady (Periyar), on arrival check into Hotel. Later on proceed for a spice plantation tour. Explore wide variety of spices in Kerala. You may also shop few varieties. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Thekkady

  After early breakfast proceed to Elephant Junction where you can enjoy the day with the elephants including riding, feeding, etc (Own Cost). Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake (Own Cost) to spot the elephants and flora and fauna for which this reserve is well known. Boat cruises and sunrise and sunset are particularly recommended. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Thekkady – Kovalam (200 KMS – 06 Hours’ drive)

  After breakfast check out from Resort and drive to Kovalam, Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing.
  Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

• Day 7 : Kovalam

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum – Trivandrum, is an ancient city with tradition dating back to 1000 BC. This capital city of Kerala is a beautiful seaside metropolis built on seven hills. It is located on the west coast of India spreading over a total of 2,192 sq. km. Sightseeing tour is comprehensive with the visits to Padmanabhaswami Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Zoo. Overnight stay is arranged in Kovalam.

• Day 8 : Kovalam – Kumarakom (160 KMS – 05 Hours’ drive)

  After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Kumarakom, Enjoy your drive with the views of azure backwaters. Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals backwaters, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures. In the lake, Pathiramanal Island is a haven for rare migratory birds.
  Towards the evening, the houseboat ( Own Cost ) will take you on a spin across the backwaters, and you can enjoy the scenic little villages and local markets that border the canals. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

• Day 9 : Kumarakom – Cochin Departure (85 KMS – 02 ½ Hours’ drive)
