Day 1 : Leh - Indus Valley:
Morning After Breakfast, We Will Take You to a Guided Tour of the Monasteries of the Indus Valley. Your Excursion Would Include Visits To,
hemis (45 Kms. South of Leh)
built On a Green Hillside Surrounded By Spectacular Mountains, Hemis is the Biggest and the Most Important Monastery in Ladakh. It Was Built in the 17th Century By Chapgon Gyalshas and Ever Since Has Enjoyed the Patronage of the Royal Family. Hemis is the Headquarter of the Drukpa Order and all the Monasteries Throughout Ladakh are Administered By It. This Wealthiest Monastery Contains Gold Statues and Stupas Decorated with Precious Stones and Many Priceless Old Thankas.
Thiksey (25 Kms South of Leh)
thiksey,One of the Most Imposing Monasteries Belonging to the 15th Century, Stands On a Crag Overlooking the Flood Plain On the East Bank of the Indus. The Monastery Belongs to Elugpa Order (yellow Sect) and is a 12- Storey Monastery Painted Deep Red, Ochre and White with Typical Tapering Walls. There is a 15m High Buddha Figure At the Entrance of the New Temple. The Layout of the Monastery Complex Resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
Shey (15 Kms South of Leh)
on the East Bank of the Indus River Lies the Beautiful Shey Monastery. Up to the 16th Century It Was the Royal Palace. There is a 17.5 M High Blue Haired Maitreya Buddha of Copper, Brass Gilded and Studded with Precious Gemstones.

Day 2 : Leh- pangong- Leh:
Early Morning After Breakfast Drive to Pangong Lake.
Pangong Tso "long, Narrow, Enchanted Lake" is Anendorheic Lake in the Himalayas Situated At a Height of About 4,350 M (14,270 Ft). It is 134 Km (83 Mi) Long and Extends from India to Tibet. 60% of the Length of the Lake Lies in China. The Lake is 5 Km (3.1 Mi) Wide At Its Broadest Point. All Together It Covers 604 Km2. During Winter the Lake Freezes Completely, Despite Being Saline Water.
The Lake is in the Process of Being Identified Under the Ramsar Convention as a Wetlandof International Importance. This Will Be the First Trans-boundary Wetland in South Asia Under the Convention.
Return to Leh for Overnight Stay in a Hotel
Day 3 : Leh- Khardungla - Leh: Drive 40 Kms
Morning After Breakfast Drive to Khardungla. Khardong La is Historically Important as It Lies On the Major Caravan Route from Leh to Kashgar in Central Asia. About 10,000 Horses and Camels Used to Take the Route Annually, and a Small Population of Bactrian Camels Can Still Be Seen At Hunder, in the Area North of the Pass. During World War Ii There Was An Attempt to Transfer War Material to China Through this Route. Khardung La is Situated 39 Km By Road from Leh. The First 24 Km, as Far as the South Pullu Check Point, are Paved. From There to the North Pullu Check Point About 15 Km Beyond the Pass the Roadway is Primarily Loose Rock, Dirt, and Occasional Rivulets of Snow Melt.
Khardung La is Widely, But Incorrectly, Believed to Be the World's Highest Motorable Pass. There are Higher Motorable Passes At Suge La, West of Lhasa, 5,430 M (17,815 Feet), Andsemo La 5,565 M (18,258 Feet), Between Raka and Coqen in Central Tibet.
Return Back to Leh for Overnight Stay At Hotel.
