Day 1 : Phnom Penh Arrival
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Dock, pick up and transfer to the hotel check in. Afternoon, visiting Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and Wat Phnom, where you can view the sunset from its top. Dinner at local restaurant.Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 2 : Phnom Penh – Takeo – Phnom Penh
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Takeo province. En route, stop at Tonle Bati and visit Ta Prohm temple (12-13 centuries) and Yeay Peau temple (12th century). Visit the Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of the Black Virgin (10th century) and visit a silk weaving village before proceeding to Takeo. Lunch at local restaurant. Later in the afternoon, take a boat from Takeo to Phnom Da (please note that the speedboat does not have a cover or any shade – hat and sun tan cream essential). Visit Phnom Da temple (the climb up is easy as this particular Phnom ‘hill’ is not very high. The path up to the temple is steep, over some big rocks), a pre-Angkorian laterite tower (6th century) and Asram Maharoseil (6th century), an Indian-style sandstone temple constructed in a style unlike any other temple in Cambodia. Return to Takeo by boat and return to Phnom Penh. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 3 : Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven by our professional driver cum tour guide to Siem Reap via Kompung Cham and Kompung Thom province. Enroute, you will stop for a Discovery of Sambor Prei Kuk’s temples, certainly the most beautiful examples of the art PreAngkorian of the VIIth century., then, departure to Siem Reap for about 3 hours to arrive in Siem Reap, near Angkor. At arrival, transfer to hotel and short visit of Siem reap. At 4.30 PM, we will go on Angkor site for look Angkor Wat from outside and after go to Phnom Bakheng temple to watch the sunset on Angkor Wat and others temples. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 4 : Siem Reap – Angkor Archeological Park
Breakfast at hotel, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat.The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Proceed to visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Lunch box will be provided at villager’s house in Srah Srang Village. Afternoon, visit Banteay Srei temple (10th c), regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art and continue to visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the Victory Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, Terrace of Elephant, Bayon temple is the most famous temple built by King Jayavarman VII with 226 faces of the Avolokitesvara on the Top of 45 towers. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 5 : Siem Reap – Hidden Temple
Morning, drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60Kms from Siem Reap). There is a lot to see in the approximately 2 hours drive as it takes you through many lively villages and along kilometers of rice paddies. Explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle. A further 1 hr drive brings you to Koh Ker, situated in the northeast of Siem Reap. Discover the long abandoned temples in the forests of northern Cambodia. Also known as Chok Gargyar, it served as the capital of Jayavarman IV (reigned 928-42). His son and successor Harshavarman I moved the capital back to Angkor in 944. There are a remarkable number of religious buildings in the Koh Ker region, considering the short space of time that it was the capital of the empire. There are more than 30 major structures and experts believe there may have been as many as 100 minor sacred buildings in the region. It was also a prolific period for gigantic sculpture and several of the most impressive pieces in the National Museum in Phnom Penh come from Koh Ker, including a huge garuda (half-man, half-bird creature). Return to Siem Reap. Dinner at with Apsara Dance show.Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 6 : Siem Reap – Preak Toh (Bird Sanctuary)
This morning, you will depart by boat to Battambang Province, the major rice grange in Cambodia. Since you will start this early morning trip at 6AM, you will enjoy sunrise and sounds of awakened animals. This is the tour by boat from Siem Reap with visit of floating fishermen’s villages on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia. Whole day you will dedicate to flora and fauna, an observation of birds in the Bird Sanctuary, the largest ornithological reserve of South East Asia. Picnic or lunch in local restaurant is provided. Return to Siem Reap. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap. Note: Prek Toal is not accessible by boat from April till October of the year due to the low level of water, thus the trip is not recommended during this period.
Day 7 : Siem Reap – Departure)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free leisure time until transfer for departure flight. End of Service
