Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandigarh - Shimla

  Arrive Chandigarh station or airport to Shimla (120 kms 5 hrs)
  Pickup from Chandigarh station or airport and drive to Shimla. On arrival check in hotel. Rest of the day free and explore The mall of Shimla. Overnight at hotel in Shimla.
• Day 2 : Shimla - local sightseeing

  Morning after breakfast visiting Indian Institute of Advanced Studies and Jakho temple, Christ Church, The Ridge, The Mall. Afternoon free for individual activity. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 3 : Shimla to Sarahan (180 km 7 hrs)

  Morning after breakfast drive from Shimla Sarahan enroute visiting Sun temple at Nirath and Rampur. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening visit Bhimakali temple which is one of the 51 shaktipeeths of Hindu religion. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 4 : Sarahan to Sangla (115 km 7 hrs)

  After breakfast drive to Sangla valley. On arrival check in camp. Visit remote villages of Rackcham and Chitkul villages. Overnight at camp.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 5 : Sangla to Kalpa (51 km 3 hrs)

  Morning visit Kamru village and fort. Later continue drive to Kalpa located in backdrop of Kinner Kailash mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to explore Kalpa village. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 6 : Kalpa to Tabo (170 kms/ 8 hrs)

  Morning after breakfast drive to Tabo enroute visiting Nako village beautifully located on banks of a small lake. On arrival in Tabo check in and overnight at hotel.
• Day 7 : Tabo to Kaza (50 km/ fullday)

  Morning visit Tabo monastery. Later drive to Kaza enroute visiting Lalung and Dhankar Gompa. On arrival in Kaza check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 8 : In Kaza - visit Ki Monastery and Kiber village

  Morning visit the Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. This centuries – old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m has the distinction of being the highest permanently inhabited village of the region. Overnight at guest house.
• Day 9 : Kaza to Manali over Kunzum and Rohtang Pass (200 km 10 hrs)

  Early morning check out hotel and drive to Manali enroute crossing Losar village and also crossing two passes Kunzum & Rohtang Pass. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

  • Hotspots Rohtang Pass
• Day 10 : In Manali - visit local sightseeing

  Morning half day tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple and Vashisht. Afternoon half day tour visiting Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery (closed on mondays) and some other old temples in Naggar village. Evening free to explore Manali market. Overnight at hotel.

  • Hotspots Manu Temple
• Day 11 : Manali to Chandigarh (320 km 9-10 hrs).

  Morning in time departure transfer from Manali to Chandigarh station drop.
