Kinnaur Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys and one of the 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh. It is renowned for apples and orchards, lovely meadows covered with dense woods and the most adventurous routes that cut through these valleys for a mesmerizing road trip.
Kalpa is a small town situated in the Sutlej Valley, located on the banks of the Sutlej river. It lies in the Kinnaur District which is in Himachal Pradesh. This town is famous for its apple orchards. It is also known for its historical temples and monasteries.
Sangla, a populous village, situated on the right bank of the Baspa river, is famous for its high fertile soil, at an elevation of 2621 m above the sea level and falls at a distance of 17 km from Karcham.
Chitkul is famous for its fair called Phulaich Fair which is attended by many Hindu devotees and attending it is actually one of the best things to do in Chitkul. You can reach this temple easily by car or bus. There are other temples like Badrinarayan ji and Vishnu Narayan ji in Sangla village itself. Chittkul is a village in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh . It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. The best places to visit in Chitkul along with your family are Chitkul Village, Sangla Meadows, Kamru Fort, Bering Nag Temple, and Baspa River.
Day 1 : Delhi- Shimla by Volvo:
We will provide you Ex- Delhi Volvo Tickets. Pls board in Volvo Bus from Delhi and start overnight journey for Shimla.
Shimla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is a very popular holiday-retreat during the summer months and is well-known for its Victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon.
Day 2 : Shimla Local Sightseeing:
Once you reach Shimla, our Cab Driver will come there to pick you up at Shimla Volvo Stand. Upon reaching Hotel, pls furnish checkin formalities, relax for small time before you proceed for Shimla Local Sightseeing. Evening time come back to Hotel, have dinner and relax overnight.
Jakhoo Temple :: It is an ancient temple in Shimla, dedicated to Hindu Deity, Hanuman. It is situated at the height of 2,455 Mtrs. on Jakhoo Hill, which is around 2.5 Kms. east from the Ridge, Shimla.
The Ridge :: It is a large open space, located in the heart of Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Ridge is the hub of all cultural activities of Shimla.
The Rashtrapati Niwas :: Also known as Vice Regal Lodge, is located on the Observatory Hills of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. Formerly, it was the residence of the British Viceroy of India.
Christ Church :: It is the second oldest church in North India, after St John's Church in Meerut. It is a parish in the Diocese of Amritsar in the Church of North India.
Mall Road :: It is main street in Shimla, constructed during British Colonial Rule, the Mall Road is located a level below the ridge. Attractions Nearby Mall Road is Scandal Point, Gaiety Theater, Kali Bari Temple, Town Hall, etc.
Hasan Valley :: One of the most amazing places in Shimla and Husain Valley is also known as the second densest forest in Asia. Most of the people visiting Shimla must have seen a glimpse of this forest on their way to Kufri.
Kufri :: The highest point in the surrounding region, Kufri has a Himalayan Wild Life Zoo, which hosts rare antelopes, felines and birds including the Himalayan Monal the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. During winter, Snow will be the main attraction.
Day 3 : Shimla- Kalpa by Etios/ Dezire:
This morning after breakfast pls do checkout and proceed to Kalpa, Kinnaur drive through Kufri and Narkanda on the way to Kinnaur Valley. Once you reach Kalpa Hotel, pls furnish checkin formalities, have dinner and relax overnight.
Kalpa is an ideal place to visit during the summers, from April to June. However, if you want to feast on the famous Apples of Kinnaur and witness the visually scenic blooming apple orchards during the harvesting season, then the best time to visit Kalpa is from September to October.
Day 4 : Kalpa Local Sightseeing and Chitkul by Etios/ Dezire:
This morning after breakfast pls do checkout and proceed for Kalpa Local Sightseeing Like: Suicide Point, Narayan Nagini Temple, distant view of Kinnaur Kailash, etc. Evening time our Cab Driver will take you to Chitkul. Once you reach Chitkul Hotel, pls furnish checkin formalities, have dinner and relax overnight.
Chitkul is called the last village in India. Chitkul is mainly known for its mesmerizing beauty and bucolic nature. The picturesque location and the scenic beauty of the place are what draws travelers towards it.
Day 5 : Chitkul- Sangla Local Sightseeing:
This morning after breakfast pls proceed for Chitkul- Sangla Local Sightseeing. Evening time come back to hotel, have dinner and relax overnight.
Kamru Fort, Bering Nag Temple, Chitkul Village- The Last Village of India, Baspa River, Tibetan Wood Carving Centre, Batseri, etc.
Day 6 : Chitkul- Shimla- Delhi:
This morning after breakfast pls do cheat and our Cab Driver will take you to Shimla. Once you reach Shimla Volvo Stand, pls board Volvo and start overnight Journey for Delhi.
