Kinnaur Valley is one of the 12 districts in Himachal Pradesh which is known for its apples & orchards, beautiful small hamlets, beautiful meadows surrounded with thick dense woods and not to forget the ever adventurous roads. Chitkul with a high altitude of 3,450 Mtrs (11,320 ft) is a village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. Chitkul is known mainly for its potatoes which are exported all over the world and are very costly. Sangla Valley located at an altitude of 2,696 Mtrs (8,900 ft), 25 kms before Chitkul which is a holy place with temples and monasteries. The Baspa River in Sangla originates from Baspa Hills and joins the Sutlej River. The valley adjacent to this river is covered with huge oak and pine forests, which is the essence of the natural beauty of this place. While the lower side of the valley is covered with green fields, meadows, and pastures, the upper terrains have snow-covered mountains that look truly mesmerising. There are also many villages around the Baspa River that give immense opportunities to tourists to explore the picturesque surroundings of Baspa valley. Kalpa is situated at an altitude of 2,960 Mtrs (9,710 ft) from the sea level, on the old Hindustan Tibet Road at a distance of 260 km from Shimla. Earlier it was the District Headquarter of Kinnaur. It is 14 kms. and half an hour’s drive from District Headquarter Reckong Peo. It has all the characteristics of a heritage village. Kalpa is dramatically located close to the foot of 6050 meter high Kinner Kailash. This is the legendary winter home of Shiva. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Leave Delhi

  Leave Delhi by 6 PM as we have a long distance of 580kms to cover before we glimpse the Baspa river of Sangla Valley.

• Day 2 : Reach Sangla

  Reach Sangla by 11 AM in the morning Settle your backpacks in your perfect rooms Grab your welcome drinks with some light breakfast Get set to explore the Sangla Valley Visit the Bering Nag Temple, Kamru Fort, Baspa river bank & Buddhist Monastry Drive to the Hindustan ka Aakhri Dhaba(Last Dhaba) to taste the yummiest paranthas Also you can trek to the famous Sangla Kund(Camping option available near kund) Trek back to Sangla in time Evening Snacks with hot beverages will be served in the evening Sing your favourite song round the bonfire Group Gaming session is on and you are having your best laugh Some light music with your heavy delicious dinner Talk to sleep with your loved ones

• Day 3 : Reach Kalpa

  Wake up with your Bed Tea by 8 AM Breakfast is served while you get ready for your new day Leave for Reckong Peo Reach Kalpa, Reckong Peo by 12 PM Make your luggage settled in your rooms Leave for the nearby attractions Check out the suicide point, 3 kms away from you If you are looking for a good trek for the day, an adrenaline rushing adventure awaits you at Chaka! The Chaka peak with an altitude of 15000 ft above the sea level is an amazing trek up the hill along with a mesmerising water channel The uphill journey is almost 2-3 hour long while it will take about 1.5 hours going downhill. Evening snacks with some hot beverages is waiting for you at your hotel Explore the Reckong Peo market Get back to the hotel for your dinner session Are you ready for some group gossips over dinner?   We are waiting in the dining area with some breakfast for you Get set with your bags for your journey to Shimla by 9 AM Reach Shimla by the evening.
