Day 1 : KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Guests will fly from OR Tambo International Airport. A representative from Phelwana Safari Lodge will transfer guests to their overnight destination. After check-in and settling in, guests will join the other guests on their first African Bush Walk guided by a professional Ranger.

Full Day Kruger Park Game Drive
A day in the Kruger National Park starts early morning, after your wakeup call go for a safari in the Kruger National Park. Setting out early improves your chances or seeing more animals. Many animals are most active early morning or late afternoon. The Kruger National Park offers magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hopefully we will see at least one of the “Big Five” today – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. Enjoy breakfast at one of the many locations in the Park. We also enjoy lunch in the Park after which we return to the camp for dinner and savor a nightcap around a cozy campfire.
Day 3 : MANYELETI PRIVATE RESERVE

We depart on an early morning game drive in Manyeleti which is a private concession in Kruger Park, offering magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hopefully we will see at least one of the Big Five today – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino, before returning to camp for breakfast. The rest of the morning is free for relaxing at camp or beside the swimming pool. Alternatively, you can enjoy a guided walk with a lodge ranger, to study some of the smaller animals, insects and trees of the park. In the afternoon, enjoy another open vehicle safari drive with your ranger. With nearly 150 different species of mammals and over 100 species of reptiles in the Kruger National Park (Manyeleti), we hope to see hippos, crocodiles, cheetah, giraffe, kudu, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons, wild dogs and a wide variety of other interesting animals.
Day 4 : HOEDSPRUIT

Breakfast will be followed by a transfer to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit) for your forward flight to Livingstone Airport, Zambia where you will be met by a hotel representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in, settle-in, and relax before guests are met during the late afternoon for your Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River to see hippos, crocodiles and the abundant bird life.
Day 5 : ILALA LODGE, ZIMBABWE

Today explore on foot the mighty Victoria Falls situated close to your hotel and offering magnificent views. Later relax by the swimming pool and enjoy the many pleasures of your hotel, or participate in one of the many local activities, such as a helicopter flight over the falls or an elephant-back safaris. Adrenalin seekers can participate in many adventure holiday activities, such as canoeing in the gentler rapids above the falls; white water rafting in the turbulent gorge below the falls (beware: grade 5); or bungee jumping from Victoria Falls Bridge! There is also an interesting local craft market.
Day 6 : CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

Victoria Falls is located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, and is a mere hour’s drive from the border with Botswana. This convenient location makes it the perfect destination for a day trip to the world-renowned Chobe national park, home to the world’s largest elephant on these excursions, enjoy game viewing, cultural tours and more.
Day 7 : DEPARTURE
After a morning spent at leisure, a last glimpse of the thundering Victoria Falls is followed by a transfer to Livingstone Airport and a flight to Johannesburg, where guests are met and transferred to any location of their choice in Johannesburg or Pretoria or connect with their international flight returning home after a memorable time in Southern Africa.
