Kudremukh Peak : locally spelled as Kuduremukha, the literally means HORSE FACE as one side of the peak is in the shape of horse face. The peak is located in the mountain range of Chikmagalur District, the trek is a scenic beauty; the route goes through the dense forests that are flora & fauna. Three important rivers, Tunga, Bhadra and Nethravathi are said to have their origin here. The town of Kudremukh is also famous for the deposits of iron ore and feeds to the PSU Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd..

Weather : Slightly cold.

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Bangalore

    Leave Bangalore at 09.30-10.00 pm from HSR Layout BDA Complex.

    07.00 am - Reach Trek Point (freshen up & breakfast en-route) and start the Trek.
    01.30 pm - Lunch, Trek & return to Camp.
    08.00 pm - Dinner & Camp Fire.

  • Day 2 : Bangalore

    07.00 am - Breakfast & Start Trek.
    02.00 pm - Visit Hanuman Gundy Waterfalls, Rafting and leave to Bangalore to reach by 10.00 pm.
