Experienced tourists say If you have not seen Central Asia, you have not seen the world!". You can not imagine how many places you are going to see in Kyrgyzstan, small but sunny country covered by celestial mountains and juniper forests, with shining lakes and rapid mountainous rivers; with hospitable people who will be glad to show you their way of life and their peace of heaven. You will visit ancient Burana Tower, the second largest lake in the world Issyk-Kul; also it includes visiting of the ancient Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle), primeval stone inscriptions, churches, mosques and many others places of interest.
Day 1 : Bishkek City
You arrive to International Manas Airport and our guide meets you there after that you are transferred to Bishkek city where you have breakfast. Guided city tour in Bishkek: visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. you will spend the night in a Hotel
Day 2 : Bishkek - Chon Kemin Valley
The day begins with breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you go to Chon Kemin valley (120km) by car. On the way visiting of Burana Tower (minaret of 11 century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After having a traditional lunch you will have a short excursion in Issyk-Ata gorge. We will arrive at the Kalmak Ashuu Guesthouse at 7 o'clock. After having checked in, you will be having dinner.
Day 3 : Chong Kemin - Son Kul Lake
Today we will see second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul. Lunch will be taken on the way. This lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters asl. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads started to come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. Herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the divine nature of the lake and its surroundings. You will have dinner and overnight in yurt -traditional collapsible dwelling of nomadic people.
Day 4 : Son Kul Lake
Breakfast time is 9 a.m. Today you have free time to enjoy nature of this place. You can have horse back riding trip or to relax in the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature. Lunch will be at 2 pm. Then you will see also ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of pagans. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. You will have dinner and overnight in yurt -traditional collapsible dwelling of nomadic people.
Day 5 : Son Kul Lake - At Bashi
After nutritious breakfast we leave the Guesthouse at 8 o'clock by car that brings us to the At Bashi valley (200km). You will be carried away by the amazing scenery offered through views the untouched nature. Dinner time is 7 p.m. After that you will spend the night in yurts.
Day 6 : At Bashi - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle)
After packing your backpacks is breakfast time at 8 o'clock Then you go to the Tash Rabat- Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle of 14th century). Tash Rabat is located at the very center of Tian Shan Mountains. It was made of stones and furthermore it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. In total there are 31 rooms in the mountain. The thickness of walls is 1 m. There are also underground prison cells for ancient thieves. Dinner time is 7 p.m. You will spend the night in yurts not far from Tash Rabat caravanserai.
Day 7 : Tash Rabat - Kochkor Valley
After a strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km). At the Kochkorka village we will come to a family that makes national felt carpets. You even can take part in process of making carpet. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show. Overnight will be in the Kochkor Guesthouse.
Day 8 : Kochkor Valley - Tamga Village
The day begins with breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then we go to divine Issyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the s largest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan (1608 m.asl). The Lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". On the way you will drive through the gorgeous valley and you will pass the Orto Tokoi reservoir. As soon as we are in Tamga village you will have a rest on the southern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. You will have dinner at 7p.m. in Tamga Guesthouse, where you also spend the night.
Day 9 : Tamga - Karakol
Time of your breakfast is 8 o'clock. Then you have free time to swim in the lake till 12 pm. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (50km). You will take lunch in the Karakol. This day includes afternoon excursion around Karakol city. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque built in the beginning of 20 century created in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explores. His biggest achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. We will end the City Tour with a traditional lunch and leave Karakol at 1 pm, starting our way to the impressive Jeti Oguz, the gorge of 7 red rocks (30km). You will see the Broken Heart Mountain and the Sanatorium (where you can take a hydro shower or get a massage). Then off to explore the Jeti Oguz valley (Yuri Gagarin's holidays house, yurts, alpine vegetation) or Chong Kyzyl Suu valley with its hot spring water and geophysics station built in 1948. Then transfer to Tamga village. Tamga was a place where ancient Tibetan monks lived in the 13th century. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Night will be in a Guesthouse.
Day 10 : Karakol - Altin Arashan - Karakol
After nutritious breakfast you will be transferred to the Altin Arashan Gorge by a heavy Russian military 4WD vehicle. Altin Arashan ("Golden Spa") gorge is one of the most famous gorges in Karakol because of the Tian-Shan fur trees that grow everywhere there. After taking a bath in thermal springs (there are some special little cabins) you will take lunch in the gorge of incredible beauty. Afterwards you will have 1 hour hiking in the gorge and then you will be transferred to the city. Time of your dinner is 7 p.m. Night will be spent in a Guesthouse.
Day 11 : Karakol - Cholpon Ata
Breakfast time is 8 o'clock. After the breakfast you will be transferred to Cholpon Ata city along the northern shore of the divine Issyk-Kul Lake (120km). On the way, we will make a short break at 1 pm, where you can enjoy lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards we will give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. The museum is dedicated to the Issyk-Kul Lake, which's beauty you will be able to enjoy to the full during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. in a Hotel, where you also spend the night.
Day 12 : Cholpon Ata - Bishkek
Breakfast is served at 8 a.m. Free time on the beach till 11 o'clock. After that you will be transferred to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a stunning Boom Gorge. You will have farewell dinner at 7 p.m. Night will be spent in a Hotel
Day 13 : Bishkek - Europe
Your guide -interpreter will accompany you to Manas Airport according to the time of your flight.
