Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Tbilisi Landing at 2.50 Morning - City Tour

  We’ll arrange short city tour. First stop is Metekhi plateau & church 13th c which presents one of the most, important architectural monuments of old Tbilisi. Take a ride to Narikala Fortress 4th c by aerial cable car - one of the best places to enjoy panoramic views of the city. Explore the ruins of the fortress and then stroll down to Sulfur Bathhouse district, to Legtakhevi area and then Meidan square & Shardeni street neighborhood. Here you can find numerous souvenir shops, art galleries and cafes.

• Day 2 : Tbilisi - Kutaisi via Mtskheta

  Pick up from the hotel and departure from Tbilisi. First stop is in Mtskheta - the ancient capital of East Georgia. Sightseeing in Mtskheta town, visit of Svetitskhoveli Cathedral of 11th c. and Jvari monastery of 6th c. - both of them are included in UNESCO world heritage list.
  Continue the way to Kutaisi, On the way we cross Likhi Range by Tunnel 1722m length which is divided Georgia in two part West and East. First in Imereti region visit Ubisa Monasteri 9-10th cc. Have a lunch at restaurant "Zghapari" and then continue directly to Kutaisi. Accommodation at comfortable guesthouse, Dinner with Georgian wine.

• Day 3 : Kutaisi - Promete Cave - Gelati Monastery - Bagrati Cathedral

  Today we explore sightseeing of the old Capital and the second largest city of Georgia Kutaisi.
  We begin the day by City tour - explore old part of the City and open market. Then at first we will visit Bagrati Cathedral 11th c. and Gelati Monastery 12th c. where is buried one of the famous king of Georgia David the Builder. After we continue to Tskaltubo Resort 16km from Kutaisi where located one of the beautiful Promethe Cave Natural Monument, After exploration of Promethe Cave we will drive back to Kutaisi and visit Sataphlia Natural Reserve where we can observe well-preserved Jurassic period footprints of Dinosaurs.
  Overnight in Kutaisi at the same Guesthouse.

• Day 4 : Kutaisi - Svaneti,Mestia via Zugdidi

  Today we have a long way to Svaneti 245km, After breakfast we depart from Kutaisi and after 2 hours driving we arrive in Zugdidi where we will visit Dadiani Palaz. Have a lunch in Lakhamula -on the way to Svaneti. Through the mountain road we arrive in Mestia - the provincial center of upper Svaneti. Accommodation at the comfortable Guesthouse, Dinner with national dishes and Georgian wine.

• Day 5 : Mestia - Chalaadi - Ethnographic Museum - Historical Museum

  Today we have short trekking in one of the beautiful Chalaadi Gorge. Startin point at 1650m ab.s.l. End point level 2000m, Route length 12km up and down. The route runs along the bank of Mestiachala River and reaches head Glacier of River. Approximately trekking time forth and back is 4 hours. The route presents beautiful views and landscapes, Flora diversity and possibility to see wild animals. Drive back to Mestia have a lunch in local restaurant and then visit at first Historical Museum of Svaneti and then Ethnographical museum of Margians.
  Overnight in Mestia at the comfortable Guesthouse. Dinner with Georgian wines.

• Day 6 : Mestia - Ushguli - Mestia

  After breakfast at 9 drive to Ushguli (2-3hr.) En route visit Nakipari Church of Saint Gorge 10th c. The Nakifari church was painted by the Tevdore who was also the Royal Palace artist of 10-11th c. Today we will visit one of the high settlement in Europe Ushguli 2200m, Also known as a free Svaneti. Ushguli with its well-preserved architectural monuments includes in the world cultural heritage of UNESCO. 38 medieval Towers provides wonderful landscapes and impressionable views . Visit Lamarea Church 10th c. which attracts visitors with it ancient origin murals and manuscripts. Also we can arrange short trekking in Shkhara Glacier (14km up and down).
  Return to Mestia the same way, Overnight at the same guesthouse.

• Day 7 : Mestia - Koruldi Lake

  This day morning after breakfast we begin short hiking from Mestia to Koruldi Lake. Distance about 6-7 km, Time 4-5 hr up and down, Inclination large 10-12%, Max elevation 1800m. Lunch in Mestia at local restaurant and then if time permits we will visit Hatsvali ski resort and by ropeway rise up to Zuruldi station and view site 2347m. Enjoying with the wonderful views and landscapes of Svaneti Range and high peaks Ushba, Tetnuldi, Rustaveli, Chalaadi, Banguriani, Gestola. Overnight at the same guesthouse, dinner with national dishes.

• Day 8 : Mestia - Kutaisi

  Today we have way back to Kutaisi 255km. We depart from Mestia early morning after breakfast. On the way we’ll visit Martvili Canyon and Martvili Monastery (VII-Xcc) in Samegrelo, Have a lunch in Zugdidi. Arrival in Kutaisi late hours. Accomodatio at the Comfortable Guesthouse.

• Day 9 : Kutaisi - Tbilisi

  After breakfast we depart from Kutaisi to Tbilisi 245km. On the way we’ll visit J.Stalini Museum in Gori and after one of the ancient cave city Uflistsikhe (16 km from Gori).Have a lunch in Gori. Arrival in Tbilisi, Accommodation at Hotel breakfast includes.

• Day 10 : Departure

  Airport Transfer at 5 am.
