Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Leh

  Ladakh Discovery Tour is all about the mesmeric beauty of Ladakh! Embark on this tour with your arrival at the Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh city; with your arrival, our tour representative will greet you in Ladakhi traditional ways and will get you checked-in into a hotel. Post this, you will be free to spend the day at total leisure followed by an acclimatisation walk around the local market and your overnight stay in the hotel.
• Day 2 : Excursion to Indus Valley

  Waking up in the morning, enjoy a heartfelt breakfast and get set for a full day excursion to some of the sacred monasteries, scenic places and other tourist spots in Ladakh. On the list, there will be the historic Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery that houses the 100ft statue of Maitreya Buddha, and the Hemis Monastery which is the largest monastery in Ladakh. Upon the completion of this excursion, you will be driven back to the hotel for your overnight stay.
• Day 3 : Leh – Alchi

  Embrace the charm of early morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and pack your bags as today you will be driven to Alchi. Located around 60k form Leh, the drive to Alchi will take you through Magnetic Hill, Sangam Point, Nimu village and the ancient Basgo Castle.
  
  Arriving in Alchi, you will be checked-in into a hotel; unwind yourself and get freshened up at the hotel to embark on a tour to the century old Alchi Monastery; evening will be free to stroll around the hamlet followed by your overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Alchi – Lamayuru – Stok

  Today morning; after your morning meal, pack your bags and you will be driven to the pious Lamayuru Monastery which is around 60km from Alchi village. After exploring and discovering the essence of this sacred monastery, you will be visiting a hamlet that resembles the shape of a moon near the Lamayuru village.
  
  Post these visits, the drive will continue further and will take you to Stok village in Ladakh. Arriving at the destination, you will be checked-in into a hotel. By late afternoon, you will be guided to the Royal Stok Museum and post that, you can spend some leisurely moments with a local Ladakhi family over a cup of butter-tea and get acquainted with their life and culture; overnight stay will be at the hotel.
• Day 5 : Pangong Tso Lake – Stok

  Pangong Tso Lake is one of the most gorgeous and highest lakes in the entire world; and today, you will be enjoying a full day excursion to this stunning lake! The drive for the day will start after your morning meal, and will cover a distance of around 135km through the towering Chang La Pass (17,500ft). Durbuk and Tangste hamlets in the Changthang valley will also be traversed during the day. Upon arrival at the lakeside, feast on its enchanting beauty and spend some of the most prismatic moments around its shores. Before it gets dark, you will be driven back to the Stok hotel for your overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Nubra Valley

  After today’s breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the picturesque Nubra Valley which is around 142km from Stok village. The drive will be one of its own kind and will take you through the majestic Khardung La Pass. Upon arrival in the pictorial Nubra Valley, you will be guided to Hunder village where you will be visiting the Diskit Monastery and have a tryst with the enchanting sand dunes. With the advent of the evening, you will be checked-in into a deluxe camp for your overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Nubra Valley – Leh

  Wake up in the morning and much on a scrumptious breakfast at the campsite. Post this, pack up your bags and you will be driven back to Leh. After your arrival in the city, you will be checked-in into a hotel, where you can spend the rest of the day at total leisure followed by your overnight stay. During the day, you can take a walk through the local market and discover the local cultures and traditions of Ladakh.
• Day 8 : Departure

  On the last day of your exciting Ladakh Discovery Tour; after your breakfast, you will be dropped at the Leh Airport. With your airport drop, this exhilarating tour will come to an end.
